Real Canadian Superstore

Issue 1 - Went to the customer service desk to get a loony for a shopping cart, there was 3 people ahead of me, with one cashier hustling to help us, while 3 other employees (one that looked like a manager, but to be honest she wasn't "managing" to do much work) chatting and ignoring us waiting in line. Turned into a 15 minute wait for a loony. Glad minimum wage is going up and to good use so these employees can make money doing absolutely nothing. Issue 2 - left my bank card in the ATM. Totally my fault, but when I called in the staff member said they had it and would leave it at customer service to collect when I can. My girlfriend went to pick it up, and when she arrived they said they had no idea where it was and that they didn't have it. The manager kept saying they have strict policies on lost cards and that everything is documented and written down and kept in the safe. We asked if they can check with the staff and see if anyone knew where it could be, but the manager kept brushing us off like we were they crazy ones. After 10 minutes of back and forth, they open up a drawer in front of them and low and behold there was my debit card. She quickly gave us the card, with no apology and a "I don't know what to tell you". Management needs to be reworked there and some policies changed. Customer service is meant to serve the customers. It's literally in the title. Can't express how frustrating this was.

Went for grocery shopping. Like any other SuperStore they have a wide variety of items. I personally didn't like how their natural and organic products are organized. I usually go to NW store which is a great example for perfect store. Plus many items were not in stock for which I'm not rating full 5 stars. Improvements can be made.

Really a hit ....or miss at this store for customer service. Sometimes best fresh produce, great prices and clean floors and washrooms or other times very hard to navigate, dirty floors and sales are not being promoting. Overall a great place to shop for groceries!!! They are always making changes to the layout so expect to spend some time.

I haven't shopped here in quite a while. Things have changed. Looks good and the layout is simple. Clean and well stocked. Shopped on a monday, around 11 am or so and it wasn't that busy. In and out pretty quick. Most of my shopping is done at Walmart so the higher price of things at the Superstore were a bit of a drag. Overall, there is no wow factor about this place to entice me to make this place my main shopping retailer. I'll go back from time-to-time to get things I can't find elsewhere. Overall, a good experience.

Good place to shop as long as you take advantage of their rewards system. I prefer their meat to some other places but not freshest produce all the time, not bad. Self checkout great for those in a hurry.
