I had such a great experience with Aamir Shaikh at the Markham & Lawrence location.nHe’s super easy to talk to and made everything feel comfortable and stress-free. From the start, he was friendly, patient, and really took the time to explain things in a way that made sense.nYou can tell he genuinely cares about helping people and not just rushing through. I never felt pressured, and all my questions were answered clearly.nIf you’re going to this location, definitely ask for Aamir — you’ll be glad you did!

I had a very disappointing experience at the RBC branch at Markham & Lawrence. A few days ago, I went in to cancel my credit card and apply for a new one. The staff advised me to cancel my existing card and assured me I could apply for a new one without issues.nnHowever, a few days after cancelling my card, I was told that I couldn’t get a new credit card because of my documents. What’s confusing is that the same employee had started my new credit card application just 30 minutes earlier on the day of my visit. There was no clear explanation and no proper solution provided.nnLater, a woman named Rani, who said she was the manager, spoke with me. When I explained that their own staff advised me to cancel my card and apply for a new one, she simply said she wasn’t there when I was given that advice and therefore couldn’t help me. That response was extremely unprofessional and dismissivennBecause of their poor communication and lack of accountability, I am now left without a credit card. Very frustrating experience and disappointing customer service.nnAnd the most surprising part is that I went back to the bank the very next day around 7 PM and spoke to another advisor who happened to be at the front. I explained the exact same situation, and this time my new credit card was approved without any issue. He also started laughing when I mentioned what the manager had told me earlier. This clearly shows that the information I was given earlier was either incorrect or handled very poorly

Always a huge lineup at this branch. Accessing the locker requires waiting in line with everyone else, which is very inconvenient. Other locations have a receptionist at the front who takes you right away, making the process much smoother. This branch really needs some changes. I hope the manager sees this feedback and takes action to improve the customer experience.
