We thought this hotel was gonna be an awesome stay for my 11-year-old‘s birthday for the weekend that we were from out of town and thought Kelowna would be a good place to share, especially seeing that the kids had their own room, but when we got to the hotel, it was quite deceiving. It was very outdated on the inside our room was Not very bright or welcoming. It was quite darker driving actually with stains on the carpet. Our bathroom fan was so loud. We couldn’t even turn the light on because you couldn’t stand the sound of the of the fan, the beds were so uncomfortable that they dipped in the middle and even the kids complained about sleeping on them we asked at the front desk for extra toilet paper and extra tissue, but the lady at the front desk told us she didn’t have access to them and because we had booked that room specifically for the extra bed for the hide a bed we asked for extra pillows, even in those weren’t provided because they said they didn’t have any of those either while we were there and my kids were using the pool. We brought our service dog along with us. He was actually kicked out of the pool and asked to leave because people at the front desk and management had no idea what service dog entails and kicked him out of the pool even though service dogs are allowed to be on the pool deck just not swimming in the pool with their handler which he was not so I had to leave my daughter unattended without her service dog. Well, I had to go explain to management after they kicked us out what it entails and the rules of having a service dog in a public place like that, and all the management could say was it was my responsibility and if something happened to somebody else, then I had to take full responsibility for my service job without them understanding that I already had known that and that he has a job to do with his Handler who has special needs and cerebral palsy. After explaining this to the people who are working at the front desk, three or four times they finally just said OK OK and I was not upset. I was not mad and I was happy to explain to them what it meant to And why we did and explain to them that they should know the rules and regulations of service Dogs our service dog was also attacked by an unleashed dog in the parking lot outside of the hotel on the backside after my daughter was out walking her dog and my daughter had politely let these people know that her dog wasn’t friendly and this was an awful dog, so that’s another strike for our poor pup who is a great asset to our family I wouldn’t recommend for the price that I paid for that hotel room or it cost me almost $700 to stay there for Friday night Saturday night. It was definitely not worth the price for the headache that we had to endure
Good spot close to shops & restaurants, aircons great in the room we’re in! Disappointing attempting to go to the pool constantly learn to swim groups going until 6pm, workout rooms treadmill doesn’t go past 4kms, weights extremely outdated and broken on certain parts.nParkings good, pubs good, beds fairly comfy but a major let down on the pool. Very dirty also, names written in the grime throughout.
This place is great, has a pool a hot tub and a work out room. Very helpful and pleasant. Left alittle late yesterday but still had my room clean and restocked when I returned. Would recommend forsure
The Ramada is a great place to stay the room I stayed in was super clean, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The night receptionist was phenomenal and very patient with us. I will definitely be coming back to stay here again.
We had a reservation for 3 nights, we were part of a larger group of reservations. One of our elderly companions was next door to us, which was perfect as she was a lone traveler with us and so that we could keep an eye on her and easy for her to come to us as well for whatever reason. On the first night after a long day of travel, we couldn't shower as the shower was spraying all over the ceiling. We called down to reception to get their maintenance person to come fix it. The young man at the front desk was pleasant and offered us to switch rooms but due to us being next door to our elderly companion we didnt want to move and were fine with waiting until the maintenance person could come and fix it. Next day, still nothing, one of our other companions arrived in the evening, and still the shower wasn't fixed. Unfortunately, the same young man who was working the previous night got the brunt of our 4th companion who just arrived and discovered the shower wasn't fixed yet. She had definitely took it out on the poor lad but to our frustration the shower issue had been in the book since the day prior. She managed to get $50 off our stay, when it came time to checkout the 50.00 wasn't there when I had as the lady that did out checkout and a manager was suppose to call me post checkout and never did Now back to the shower, at roughly 830pm there was a knock on the door, in comes an elderly maintenance man who was basically using the walls to walk and wreaked of alcohol but yay finally a working shower after he had to leave to grab Teflon tape as you know when you typically go to do a job you should come prepared. Then mentioned some maintenance excuses in the day like the 2 broken ice machines and something about a fan. Anyways, after he was done, we decided to head down to the pub great food, great staff, and very reasonably priced, we were gonna mention the drunk maintenance man to the young lad at the desk but just as we were about too drunk maintenance was walking past. FYI we checked the ice machine on the 2nd floor it was still broken. Housekeeping were very pleasant, hard working and aimed to please our needs. Price for our stay was very reasonably priced. But as I mentioned earlier about the 50 credit never happened.
