The location of this hotel is amazing and the vibes are really nice. The restaurant downstairs is lovely with a great view and good food. The staff are nice however the rooms are not clean. Our first night we noticed a stain on the bed sheets and stains all over the shower curtain. Even though they are tidying up our room they arent doing that good of a job. There was an empty starbucks cup we forgot to throw away and it stayed even after they cleaned the room. The bathrooms extremely small and the sink isnt clean. The shower is also super small with 0 pressure from the shower head. Overall the hotel is nice and in a great location but cleanliness is a big concern for us
Considering what we paid, we expected a much better experience.nnWe originally booked a Deluxe Ocean View room, but it looked very different from the photos online. The bathroom was extremely small, and the overall service wasn’t as attentive as we had hoped.nnThe room also didn’t feel as clean as it should have, which was disappointing.nnThat said, the location was excellent. There were plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy Kelowna!
Our stay at the Delta Grand was wonderful, and I really wanted to recognize both Zeph and Rahul Jayan for making the experience so memorable for our entire group.nnFrom the moment we arrived, Zeph immediately stood out with how welcoming, professional, and attentive he was. He took the time to explain all the hotel amenities, recommended places for us to visit, and genuinely made us feel excited to be there. You could tell he truly cared about making sure guests had the best possible experience, and his positive energy set the tone for our whole trip.nnMy husband later explained everything Rahul had done for all of us while dealing with an unexpected issue after check in, and I was honestly blown away by the level of service and care he provided. Because the battery in one of the room doors had died, our group was delayed for hours while maintenance worked on getting it open, and we also had our little puppy with us which added even more stress to the situation.nnInstead of letting it become a frustrating experience, Rahul completely turned things around for everyone. My husband told me how Rahul stayed with the group while they waited, kept everyone in good spirits by joking around, brought drinks from the pantry, and constantly checked in to make sure everyone was comfortable. He even went the extra mile to personally ensure the rooms were clean, tidy, and ready afterward, and helped arrange our rooms closer together so our friends could enjoy the trip more easily together.nnWhat impressed me most was hearing how genuine and caring he was through the entire situation. It never sounded like he was simply “doing his job.” He treated our group with kindness, patience, and hospitality that truly went above and beyond expectations.nnBetween Zeph’s amazing welcome and Rahul’s incredible effort afterward, the service we received at the Delta Grand was exceptional from start to finish. They both played a huge part in making the trip such a great experience for all of us and our friends.
I normally don’t leave reviews, but the service from Zeph and Rahul Jayan at the Delta Grand absolutely deserves one.nnFrom the moment we arrived, Zeph made us feel welcome by explaining all the amenities and recommending great places to go around the area. The service already started off amazing.nnWhat truly made our stay unforgettable was Rahul. After we checked in, we ran into a major issue when the battery in our door lock died and we couldn’t get into our room for several hours while maintenance had to drill through the door. We also had our little puppy with us, which made the situation even more stressful.nnRahul went far above and beyond to turn what could have been a terrible experience into an incredible stay. He stayed with us, kept us laughing with jokes, brought us drinks from the pantry while we waited, personally checked and prepared our room to make sure everything was spotless and comfortable, and even arranged for our two rooms on different floors to be moved closer together.nnHis attitude, professionalism, and genuine care completely changed the experience for us. Instead of being upset about the inconvenience, we left talking about how amazing the service was.nnThe hospitality from both Zeph and Rahul alone was worth the trip. Truly outstanding customer service and one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.nnThank you both for a great stay
We stayed at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Kelowna for three nights and, unfortunately, were disappointed given the price.nnThe biggest issue was the bedding. The sheets were heavily pilled see attached photo, which made them feel rough and uncomfortable every time we moved around in bed. At this price point, I’d expect much higher-quality linens that don’t interfere with a good night’s sleep.nnThe other major issue was a persistent beeping noise somewhere in the room. We reported it, and staff kindly sent people up to investigate, but the beeping continued for the rest of our stay. We never found out where it was coming from, and it woke us up several times during the night.nnThe staff were courteous and did try to help, but the underlying issues were never resolved. For a hotel in this price range, Delta really needs to invest in better-quality bedding and permanently fix the ongoing beeping issue. These are basic expectations for a comfortable hotel stay.
