Quality Inn & Suites P.E. Trudeau Airport

This was my second time staying there. For my first visit, I would've rated the hotel at 5 stars (not because it's a five star hotel, but they did very well for a 2/3 star hotel). I had no problems whatsoever my first visit, but during the second there were several issues: 1. There were no blinds but the thin white one. You could easily peak through into the suite, and the sunlight was blaring in the morning. 2. Only one outlet by the desk was working. The other one appeared to have been fried or something. It was making an electrical sizzling sound when I tried to plug into the outlet there. 3. None of the lights worked but the main one. There are two nightstands beside the bed. The lights on them were not working. Neither was the power. 4. It's easy to hear other guests/staff on the first floor of rooms, but it wasn't too bad when I visited. They also offer free breakfast, but I never had the opportunity to join during this time.

Old airport hotel, really not aging well either. Strong smell of industrial grade odor masking agent in the room. Kitchenette stove/fridge combo and microwave appear to be at least 25 years old, no dishes, pans or cutlery in the room... AC unit & duct work kludged together with a healthy dose of duct tape. Within 5 mins from the airport, with easy airport access being the only real reason to stay here if Aloft or other hotels in this price range at YUL are booked

I stayed here on my last day of my trip so I can have easy access to the airport. They have a shuttle that drops you off at the airport which was great. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was located next to a grocery store and pizza delivery was nearby. Overall. Stay was fine. I guess for laundry you use it one at a time so when I needed it, someone was using it, but reception called me when it was free. It took coins which I didn't have so I passed. Overall, I would stay here again.

The bed is not the most comfortable, quite hard and only got a thin blanket. Need to ask for one more. Breakfast is oki and got alot of noise inside and outside the hotel. Not bad for a night between two airplan/trips.

Close to the airport, perfect room, fast check-in, continental breakfast was great with a lot of choice, l love it
