Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Montreal-Dorval

Breakfast is decent, rooms are clean. Shuttle service available. Lounge, tv and food can be better.

It was clean and passable but I wouldn't say I'd enjoy another night. The breakfast was great. A buffet style with day to day changes in hot items from bacon to hash browns and french toast to omelets. The food was warm and sometimes felt like it was out a bit longer than it should be but what else can you expect from a free buffet? The shower head in my room was partially falling apart. It still functioned but they obviously didn't note it. They also didn't note that the air con/heater was stuck in the on position running the A.C. full blast the entire time. Also of note the towels were like sandpaper. The hotel does not have a restaurant but does have a lounge that serves only 5 meals that are, in my opinion, overpriced significantly. Would I stay here again? No. There is a lot of little issues that add up not to mention that there isn't anything within walking distance. It's passable but not preferable.

The hotel is nice.... HOWEVER i was totally thrown off by the TOURIST TAX! Next time will have my Canadian family book for me. I reserved 2 roons, thus having the same charge twice

Not my favourite hotel, probably won’t stay here again. I usually enjoy the Hampton inn, but the front desk staff were not friendly - seemed annoyed to help me during check in.
