Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montreal Airport

Stayed here for one night when we were in Montreal. Lobby was excellent, clean and pleasant. That changed when we hit the hallway once on our floor. A bit smelly. It all changed again in the room, very clean, no smell. No carpet so good. Bathroom, sheets, towels were spotless and clean. The guy at the desk was very pleasant. Will stay here again when in Montreal.

No bottle water in room. Read some reviews said: You have to go to the front desk to ask. The shower floor is higher than bathroom floor, so when you take shower, the water will over flow all over the bathroom. I had to spend a few minutes to clean it up. There was back ground noise all the time. Maybe my room is close to some equipment room? Can’t sleep all night. Airport shuttle service is great. It is most like a 2 star hotel with basic services.

Good enough hotel, obviously a bit older but decent renovation. Some minor fit and finish issues, some of the hallways have an odd smell. Shuttle to and from airport is a huge benefit. Not much to do around the hotel though restaurants or bars.

Overpriced.nsmelly hallways and rooms need work. There are no plates or glasses, cutlery in the kitchen. Horrible cable T.V . Very few channels available.nThe power was off for more than an hour.nLocation, though close to the airport, nothing else around. It is an industrial park. Our room was so loud being close to the highway.

Location is great close to the airport. Reception area looks modern and chic. Shuttle was fast and very friendly and helpful driver. Receptionist upon check in was very rude and passive aggressive. I called when I was collecting my bags and she said call again when you have them in your hand in an aggressive tone. I said I was feeling sick and tired and if I could get checked in 20 minutes earlier as I just have landed. She was very rude and dismissive. Later the other receptionist were friendly and helpful.
