First time to stay here. I was happy with the experience. Rooms are clean, spacious. Friendly staff. The hotel is going under some renovation due to a fire but you wouldn’t know it. Everything is clean. Good location. Anyone looking for an affordable hotel close to Ottawa I would highly recommend this spot.
The hotel is doing renovations, but except for a relocated reception you wouldn’t be able to tell.nnOur door would not lock when we left and we told front desk and it had been all fixed when we came back.nnThe breakfast box was good included cheese, fruit, a croissant and a muffin with options to get juice, yoghurt, hard boiled egg and a piece pate and it was nice to be able to return to our room and eat.nnGreat location, within walking distance to the mall.
Horrible hotel to stay at. Empty coke baggies sitting outside. No AC in the room I was staying in. They treat you like crab if you’re Native American. I asked for a cup of water from the water dispenser in the complementary breakfast area. They told me to get it from my room tap. And then they told me the water the dispensers actually just tapwater.
One of the best accommodation for a stay to relax when ur having a long trip for work renovated too !great team good service breakfast area is amazing
There had been a fire the year before so we’re operating from the back of the hotel. There had been some upgrades to the room so it was pretty good. I’m hoping they continue with the upgrades as the hallways are looking dated but the service was very good. Their outside pool was pretty much closed when we got there but since it was end of September that’s fair. There was a boxed breakfast that was a croissant and a rectangle of Quebec cheddar cheese, some jelly, a mini muffin top, a couple slices of fruit, a boiled egg and pate of some sort. If you will need a plate or cutlery for takeout stop by a store before getting there because they literally only had one plate. But they did let us borrow it. The beds were comfortablenAnd I liked that it was laminate plank flooring as it just seems so much cleaner than carpet. We could have requested housekeeping but we only stayed 3 nights. So we just left our garbage cans outside and they emptied them. There was lots of parking. And our plane had landed early in the morning and they allowed us to check in early for a fee. But the curtains kept the room dark and the hotel was quiet.
