Auberge Du Lac Beauchamp

If you just need a quick cheap place to sleep this place will totally work. The room was a bit small, but it was clean. The beds were a bit firm for my liking but the sheets were clean. This is not a smoke free hotel. The room smelled of smoke and had an ash tray in it. The noise from outside is pretty loud road noise and people talking outside. The gal at the reception was SUPER friendly. Again, if you're just looking for a quick place to sleep, this place fits the bill.

Enjoyed my stay. Was there for 3 days. Very nice staff. Clean enough room. Very basic. Wifi was acceptable during low peak times. Minimal noise. But NOT Smoke Free! Would have preferred a truly smoke free room. So manage your expectations. It seems the air was circulating into the venting system from the non smoke-free rooms into my room so it made it very uncomfortable to breath. If I stayed there again I would bring an air purifier. They also have a functional fridge with freezer and microwave which you don't get even in higher priced hotels without being charged extra. For the price I would say this is a decent place to stay keeping in mind what your needs are.

We found the room to be clean and neat- the bathroom was in very good condition.nIt was not a big room but enough for us - did have a very strong cigarette odour on the 1st day.nThe lady at the reception who signed us in was polite and friendly.nThe motel is well situated and not very far from Ottawa.Plenty of shops and convenience stores close by.nThe voltage was very low and we found it difficult to use some appliances- the TV was one of the older models not seen nowadays and I did not find anything worth watching.nThe room rate was good though in comparison to Ottawa rates.nI would definitely recommend this place to people on a budget - ultimately the objective is to sleep only.

While the interior was decent, the people renting the place were not. A lot of yelling, banging around— generally a lack of respect for those around. Did not feel safe here, I do not recommend this motel for families, couples or by yourself. I’d give no stars if it were possible. Do not come here.

Very bad service. Booked through the app and it said check in has to happen between 3pm and 8pm. It's not even 12.30pm and the staff is harrassing my phone line trying to make me come as early as possible because she wants to go home early and is waiting after me ?! She was even asking me to come before the time agreed upon on Booking !!! What is this ?! I'm paying for my room like everybody else. I can arrive between 3 and 8 pm like everybody else. Definitely mever recommending this place LOL
