I wish I knew about this place earlier in our visit, we would have stopped trying to find 'great' restaurants downtown. Homemade soup, roasting their own turkey, local eggs and ingredients, GREAT prices, and real, warm people. It's like coming home. Very kid-friendly. We came back for lunch after having some breakfast. It's so easy to write negative reviews and it feels great to be able to finally write a positive one.
Great cafe for a quick stop. Credit was down when I was there so it was only cash or debit. Small menu with breakfast and lunch items. Bagels are fresh and sell out fast. Sandwiches are made fresh to order. Try the mike breakfast sandwich if your hungry, deliciously filling!
Lovely cafe with fabulous owners. Been many times always good. We had the full breakfast and the deluxe breakfast sandwich with coffee today. Sat outside. Was great. Timed it perfectly to get the fresh out of the oven cinnamon buns for a snack later. Stop in and try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!!!
Family owned- very sweet couple. The baked goods are quite good especially their fresh bread amazing on a sandwich. The quiche is also quite delicious but wouldn’t get the samosas again I prefer traditional Indian samosas.
Always fresh, fast, and well priced. A bit out of the way but worth it. Very lovely owners, clean, and well spaced. If they have fresh cinnamon buns that day definitely treat yourself <3
Enthusiastic and friendly service. Definitely has the small business mom and pop vibe. Kind of expensive for what you get would like to see sandwiches stay under $10 or at least include free coffee refills, but keeping in mind that this is a small place and they treat their regulars well it all balances out. Just wish I could justify to go more often since soup+sandwich+coffee with a book on my lunch break is ideal, but it ain't in my budget.
Awesome food, casual atmosphere. I had the Mike's sandwich, best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. My wife really enjoyed the fresh spanakopita. If you are looking for a calm, relaxing place to have a bagel and some tea/coffee this is the place. Friendly staff, locally owned, took a few samosas and meat pies to go.
Friendly staff and a varied selection of baked goods.
Great home style cooking and down home atmosphere. Wonderful proprietors. If you're vegan, don't miss the Moroccan lentil soup!
Love this place. Hard working couple that treat you like family. Never had a bad meal here. They've got my business for life. You won't be disappointed.
