Nice Atmosphere and welcoming service. Food came quickly. I had a savoury pannekoek probably didn't spell that right...the pierogi one. My wife had the chocolate strawberry version, which she enjoyed. My food was good, if slightly bland I should have asked for hot sauce. We had a side of hash browns which were really terrible, so I don't recommend those. Would try this place again, although I found it a bit overpriced.
I was really looking forward to finally visiting since COVID...and I don't think I'll ever be going back. I got my usual order that I've had a dozen or so times before, which is the Amsterkoek, and...I was blessed with a single tomato slice, half the cheese as before, and the kitchen forgetting the hollandaise. The wonderful front end staff I used to know are long gone from what I overheard from one of the front end staff. Now it's a lot of rather fresh employees and the atmosphere is so dead, that in itself almost made me cry. The only positive side...is that I got food that did taste familiar after I asked for the hollandaise... As someone who got severly burned out working food service during COVID, I can totally understand staff moving on for their own well being...but the impression I got after finally being able to go to this location after so long...was extremely disappointing. Good-bye DeDutch. I won't be seeking you out from now on.
Love this location, cute little restaurant and great food. Service has always been excellent for us. Wish they were able to be open longer, I definitely get cravings for breakfast at dinner sometimes.
I have never been into the restaurant but am a regular Online ordering customer, I am a big fan of their avacado toast which they are usually sold out . Freshly squeezed orange juice is a must try too . Their breakfast items are very appealing and i usually go with breakfast bowls and hashboats and they are always great in tasting and presentation. Highly recommended
The hamburger I ordered had outdated cooking oil taste and only very thin meat patty and few leaves inside. The harsh brown potatoes was cold . For two ppl costed about $50 including tips and tax. The waitress was nice and kind and the fireplace made the whole restaurant cozy in the rainy day.Food: 2/5
This place was lovely! The service was friendly and quick, the waitress helped me with the menu and suggestions, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Coffee was also great which surprised me as a lot of breakfast chains coffee is mediocre! Will definitely go again :-
Great food, friendly service would have rated higher but starting at 1:15 the waitress began to try to get us to leave even though closing was at 2pm. When asked when closing was she said 130 or 2 sigh
Took my kid here for brunch. The food was good. But we had an unpleasant experience because of our server. We ordered a kid meal that is supposed to come with fruit to start, an entrée, a drink , and a cookie for dessert. The server did not bring the fruit to start, brought my son just an entree and a drink. When I asked about it, she just brushed me off and told me it was different thing. After getting the bill, we got charge for the meal that should have included the fruit and the cookie. We asked her about it after we paid, she just interrupt rudely with asking us if we want the cookie. We're not happy with the services and might not want to come back again.
I was positively surprised by this restaurant: many breakfast choices all available from opening to close. They serve their original Dutch pancakes in many different ways, as well as more traditional breakfast options, like the breakfast hash in several different combinations. We are definitely gonna one back!
So, first time here because I heard it was suppose to be good. Well, not the greatest experience for me. Ordered crepes Hadrians and eggs, all were under cooked. Asked for over med eggs and got completely runny eggs, Hash browns were almost raw, barely cooked, and the crepe was only cooked on the outside and was raw in the middle. Coffee wasn’t any better than gas station coffee. And to top it off, one crepe, order of hash browns, two eggs and a coffee cost me $26. Over all, not impressed. Will not be coming here again. I did have high hopes and unfortunately, they were crushed
