Plato's Closet® is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We specialize in gently used clothes and accessories for teen and twenty something girls and guys. All stores are independently owned franchises.

At Plato's Closet® you'll find a huge selection of trendy, designer styles as well as those every day basics you can't live without - all at up to 70% off mall retail prices!

Our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 18/20 and guys size 28 to 38 waist. The gently used clothing and accessories that we buy are: top-name brands, cool, hip, trendy, and clean. Typically we buy items that have been in the retail stores within the past 12 to 18 months.

Our process is quick and easy:

1. Go through your overflowing closet
2. Bring in your cool stuff
3. Walk out with new cool stuff or $$$ in your pocket!

I went in today with my teens and every single one of the ladies working the store were friendly and helpful. I was greeted when I walked into the store, they answered several questions happily and they were helpful and attentive at the change rooms. The check out process was surprisingly quick even though there were probably 8 people in line ahead of us. It’s hard to beat the selection and prices as well. I had an excellent experience!
I've been here a few times, and unfortunately, every experience has been the same. You walk into the store and are greeted with cold, unwelcoming stares and maybe a judgemental hello. The employees all seem disinterested and spend the majority of their time judging. I needed assistance with the change rooms. There was no one maintaining it or even checking in. I waited in a very disorganized line for over 10 minutes and still received no help. There were multiple staff members, but they were more interested in chatting amongst themselves and showing each other things on their phones. I was disappointed with this experience because I've always loved the selection of clothing. It comes at the price of being treated poorly and judged the entire time. I've only had this experience at this particular location. I went to a different location today, and the staff over there were lovely.
plato’s is such a perfect place for me to get rid of cute clothes I have but don’t wear anymore and get some extra cash on the side. it’s not a lot when looking at the selling price for each item, but even the littlest bit of extra money is always a good thing. totally understandable if they pass on items, but i tend to ask specifically why to keep in mind for selling next time, and the staff explains it as much as they can :
I had such a great experience selling and shopping at Platos South, the girls were super friendly and efficient. The store is very organized based on size colour and category, making it super easy to find what you’re looking for! I was able to find some super cute fall items while they sorted through my clothes I was selling. I ended up leaving with cash in hand and some new staple pieces!
Plato’s has always been my go to! There is always so many cute and affordable clothes from all my favorite brands plus if my closet is overflowing I just take a quick stop to get my stuff sorted and get cash on the spot when I pick up! I highly recommend stopping by to get some quick cash or some new staples for your wardrobe
