Groomers are incompetent and rude. I've gone in several times and had similar experiences, so I can only assume this is the regular thing. Last year, they chastised me because my dog was nervous about the groomer and "they need to be brought in every couple weeks to a month." Who has the money or time for that? I bathe her myself and bring her in a few times a year, as needed, for the rest. She's a high strung dog, that's all there is to it. You don't need to reprimand your paying customers. The next time, they called to tell me she was wobbly in the bath and if she couldn't stand, they couldn't groom her. I respect that. But i explained to them that I bathe her, and she just doesn't like the water and is nervous, she should be fine for the rest. They insisted that she's not nervous, she has muscle problems-- first, they saw her running in and then pulling them so that they struggled with her--my 250 pound brother has a hard time taking my twelve pound dog somewhere she doesn't want to go. Doesn't sound like problems to me. Second, I went to my vet when they mentioned this last time, and she told me the dog is fine and actually in great shape for her age--she was very gentle and didn't have a problem. To compare this, I've taken my dog to three groomers, as I've moved, and this is the first one to have a problem. The last one, in Ypsilanti, saw that she was shaking and sat with her until she calmed down, and never blamed me, but said yeah, some dogs are just nervous, and she's used to it and will help them calm down before working with them. Petco is the cheapest groomer by far, which is the only reason they've had more than one visit from me, though I can't guarantee they'll get another. If you go in the afternoon, the people tend to be a little nicer--they're much happier and nicer and don't make jabs at me when I pick her up. So while I recommend looking elsewhere, if you have to come here for financial reasons (I can see no other reason), try to come later in the day.

Great service. Kind of pricey for pet supplies but better quality than a department store. I took my German Shepherd there to be groomed and they sent her home with a bag of doggy cookies and a cute bandana. They really love animals here!

Disappointing experience with grooming service. Ask if anything to do before bringing them in and they say no. Then tell me to my face your dog is not well groomed and can't finish the job.

I enjoy the seasonal dog clothing, treats that they have, my main place I go for sweaters, cute and fun dog toys, they always change products session ally for dog toys and outfits. they also have u of m and state jerseys for small and medium dogs, got my dog a medium jersey he likes it alot, and much more. customer service isn't the best, but items our great suggest it to friends and other people.

The cutest kittens traveled all the way from Ohio looking for homes. I loved the brown cat, Missy. I would have shared my home with her, if it wouldn't kill my boyfriend.
