Make sure you get Shane! (Or really anyone other than Brett)
I went in, was immediately met by a very nice worker who checked me in and asked me to wait for the next available associate. Within ten minutes another guy, Shane, came up and began to help me. I had a terrible time trying to call the technical support and my internet hadn't worked for a month. Shane was able to call in and get a technician to come to my apartment in the next two days and offered me a pro-rated bill because of my troubles. He only asked that I came back in two days after the technician fixed the problem for the bill to be adjusted. Made me super happy that I decided to come in to the store, even held the door open on my way out!
I was happy to see Shane again when I came back in, but was greeted by Brett. I told him why I was there and he immediately tells me that's not something they could do and told me I'd have to call in on my own, unlike Shane who called technical support for me and said they'd always be willing to call in and deal with AT&Ts customer service if I needed. I asked if we could just wait and talk to Shane when he was no longer busy and determine what he had meant when we spoke previously. He wouldn't. I ended up leaving the store and cancelling my service. I had AT&T internet for the last two years in the other residences I lived, and this was the final straw of the last month of disarray that got me to cancel. Brett lacked social skills and was 100% unwilling to work with me. And he's the manager? I had the other person who ordered the internet service with me call him about my experience just minutes after, he lied about what he told me. He told me he'd help me and called the customer care after helping the other customers (when he never told me there were other customers and was with me from the time I walked in the door and left) and said I was unable to wait. While I had waited just days before.
5 stars for Shane, 0 for Brett.

If the staff weren't so helpful, this place would get three stars for the super long waits, but fortunately for them, their staff is great.

Went from the worst customer service experience of my life which made me want to cancel all of my AT&T services to one of the best.
My wife and I spent around an hour and a half with the 800 number customer service trying to dispute a $200 billing discrepancy. The woman kept putting us on hold, coming back with irrelevant information, talking over us, and not listening. So, the next week I went into your store to try and cancel our TV, Internet, and two cell phone plans.
Terry helped me resolve the billing discrepancy which was the result of a billing error, and was persistent with the back office to make sure it was resolved in a timely manner. He also set us up with DirecTV and Internet service at our new residence. He was extremely professional and very friendly.
If you're his manager and you''re reading this, give the man a raise, he saved your company two customers simply by listening and communicating.
