Firestone Complete Auto Care

On February 11 we were on our way to the airport in some pretty bad weather on our way to FL for vacation when we were involved in an accident on 94. We were thankfully able to be towed to this Firestone location, which I was thankful was opened on a Sunday, and we were given excellent service. The staff went above and beyond, and although they seemed to be very busy they got my car in right away and were very accommodating so that we were able to get back on the road to the airport. The staff was professional and courteous and I would highly recommend them.

On a 1700$ tune up on Feb 2nd 2018 with new tires, person admitted they offer a 10% military discount but wouldn’t apply it because we were too far into the transaction, which wasn’t complete. I had just gotten off the phone with an old military buddy talking about people like this who are either extremely lazy or just want to show disrespect and was too grossed out to argue without losing my cool. I’ll be back in today to see if they can’t remedy. I really hope that it’s just disrespect because I would never want my car mechanic shop fixing a vehicle that will be rocketing down the highway with my loved ones in it to fail due to laziness. I will say that the car does appear to be in good shape though. Although the options for a good car mechanic is very open here in Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas. If you think your gonna be getting a discount, I’d confirm before they do any work otherwise they probably won’t apply it, in my experience. UPDATE: INITAL POST WAS RATED 1 STAR. UPDATED TO 4 STARS.... After posting on another popular rating service, which rhymes with HELP, customer support from Firestone reached out to me and told me to contact them. After i did and told them what happened and included information from my receipt they contacted the store manager, who contacted me and told me they would give me the military discount plus pay for the taxes on that transaction. I am very satisfied with the follow up on how they handled this. I am still debating if i will use this particular location again but i am glad that they did reach out and correct what i perceive/perceived to be a mistake.

Got in at 9am w/o confirmed appointment after the first heavy snowfall to get new tires. Done by 11:30am, and I could work in a Starbucks while waiting. It's the second time I've ended up here after considering the other two tire stores right next door, and both times I've been happy with Firestone's service, prices, and tire warranty. Thanks for finding time on a busy day despite short notice!

If you care about your car, or your safety, take your car somewhere else. I brought my car in to get new tires swapped. I brought the tires. I had an appointment. It was busy, so they told me it would take an hour and a half (for reference, this is a 30-45 minute job). I waited. 3 hours later, they finally finished. I checked my car, and two of the tires were installed backwards. This is incredibly unsafe, as the car would not stop evenly (the two backwards tires were on the same side) during emergency braking, which could spin the car. Directional tires are designed that way for a reason. Took over 3.5 hours in total.
