Very poor customer service! My husband and I came in to buy a couple of watch we already checked online. Unfortunately, they're only available at Chinook Mall location so we had to drive all the way South. As we entered the store, we were welcomed by judging eyes of a rude looking sales lady with long black hair and fancy eye lashes, looking at me from head to toe. I told her I'm looking to buy a watch and pointed out which one I want. She then passed me to another short haired sales lady, who acted exactly the same as her. They looked at me showing a discriminating face. I know I don't wear fancy clothes, jewelry, or make up like these ladies so probably that's the reason why? The way they talked to me made me feel they didn't want my business. I will never come back to this location ever! Please stay away from these people and spend your money somewhere else or go to Cross Iron Mall location instead.
I recently received jewlery from my late mother. The pieces needed to be cleaned, and I was wary of doing it myself due to the sentimental value. I went in to Peoples as when I called they told me that they do free in-store cleaning. Being a young woman walking into a big ticket item store, the customer service is often lacking. Lona I am not sure how to spell her name was wonderful. She took time to show me how to care for and clean all the pieces I brought in, as well as did an amazing job cleaning them. Lona treated the items with great care as she noticed they were older pieces. She checked all the settings and told me what to watch for in terms of wear and damage. She gave me a box for a set that I had, and helped me pick a chain to replace one. I will very happily purchase from Peoples in the future, especially working with Lona, and I have already recommended bringing jewlery to Peoples for cleaning. I have mentioned to other women my age that Lona had amazing customer service and treated me very well.
Very friendly staff. Great collection. They would clean your rings and other jewellery under lifetime warranty program. Have your receipt on you to make the process simple. Would recommend
Had the back of my pocket watch pop off suddenly one day, and thanks to their protection plan I was able to get a replacement with no hassle! Amazing service.
Took over a month to get a new clasp and there is a giant gap in the closure that allows for the chain to come off. Going to have to spend another $100 to get it fixed properly this time. AVOID AVOID AVOID
We had a great time searching for the perfect wedding bands for our upcoming wedding. Peoples has a great selection and many of their items are unique to Peoples Jewellers. Lona was great, so professional and fun! We thought she had been selling jewelry forever and we were shocked she had only been there 4 years, her knowledge and people skills were simply amazing! We both found the perfect rings! We highly recommend Peoples Jewellers in Chinook Mall.
This jewelry store is amazing! We bought our engagement and wedding rings here. And come in often to get them cleaned and re-plated for FREE, and always receive exceptional and friendly customer service, especially from Belinda! I recommend you keep up with your ring checks as we lost a diamond in my engagement ring, and missed one or two checks and they still honoured the free diamond replacement policy when they certainly didn’t have to. Because this happened over Covid, it took a while to get the replacement like everything due to the pandemic, however they called me to keep me updated with its progress, which I really appreciated. They have a customer for life, I won’t be buying diamonds from anywhere else. Would highly recommend the People’s Chinook location!! I send people their way, every opportunity I get. :

My fiance and I came in looking for an engagement ring; we walked around looking at everything for 10min without a single person approaching us, it's a shame as I knew exactly what I wanted. Poor customer service, it wasn't even busy.
