I made an almost 30,000 purchased of a 2020 accord sport just over a month ago from Parkway Honda. Almost immediately after taking delivery of the vehicle, I had problems with the drivers window, then a parking brake fault, as well as a collision avoidance fault. I then discovered dog hair throughout the vehicle, which I was told was professionally detailed prior to delivery. After discovering the dog hair, I cleaned the car myself including the seats, which had stains in various locations. When I cleaned the seats, I could not believe how dirty they actually were, absolutely filthy.nnAfter taking delivery of the vehicle, I noticed an intermittent squeaking from the clutch pedal, which I initially thought was caused by moisture on the bottom of my shoes, on the rubber pedal. I then went to address the squeak and upon inspection of that area, observed extensive and abnormal amounts of rust, as well as sand on various components up under this area. I then investigated further and observed the same issue under both front seats, as well as the chair rails. Keep in mind that this is a 2020 vehicle.nnWhat would your immediate thoughts be regarding this vehicle and how the conditions observed would impact the actual value of the vehicle, as well as potential problems going forward?nnI went and made this purchase at a dealership for peace of mind. however, that has not been the case.nnI have brought my concerns to their attention, and thus far they have fixed the driver's window and re detailed the vehicle.
