Guys, this is not a good place to get your car serviced and I'm wondering of this is even a good place to buy a car in the first place. They welcome you with smiles and act like your friend to talk you into buying a car and then up sell you on warranties and other stuff you may never need. -nn- If you're new to buying cars be ware, as they will charge you way too much for a used car. 2015 honda civic with close to 100,000km on it was $23k. Way over priced - nnIf you bring your car here for repairs, they make stuff up to nickle and dime you. For me it was a hole in my air intake hose a few months after I bought the car which was supposed to be inspected. I also told them I was having sluggish acceleration, loud grinding noise from the engine bay and instead of servicing my sparkplugs they did an air and fuel kit and ignored the real issues-nnNow I'm stuck paying out of pocket and trying to figure out the issue while the problem gets worse and I'll likely have to replace the AC Compressor.nnTheir used cars are way overpriced and their service is a rip off, the only thing I know was done when picking up my car was a wash. For that you get +.nnAs a new car buyer, I wasn't sure what was essential for owning a car and keeping in good health, so I was gullible enough to buy into their tire and rim warranty. Which btw, if you damage either it's easy enough to find cheap replacements else where.nnMidtown- if you're reading this, I would appreciate a call back to discuss how you can make this right and I don't mean so service credits. Cause that seems to also be a scam. I was told last time, credits were added to my account by the manager and they never were. If I don't hear back and nothing is done to resolve these issues, I will be involving headquarters and OMVIC.nnI only recommend coming here if you need a fake friend for ten minutes. AND MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKET.
I left my car for repairs. They said they cleaned my car, but they returned it very dirty. I had to take my car to the car wash. I do not recommend. be careful.
The attached picture was taken around an hour after the purchase of the vehicle, on the way back to Kitchener. I was stranded around the Guelph area. There wasn’t a straight wrench included raise the carjack, and one of the nuts just wouldn’t open. The + shaped wrench in the picture wasn’t able to open one of the nuts and it kept slipping. Yes, we tried all sides to see if there was a fit.nnI tried calling you guys, and I was told that I would have to wait because “Mike was busy”. I was absolutely fine with holding, but after around 25 minutes of cumulative hold time, they just hung up. Lovely. And they had the gall to ask me if I purchased roadside assistance. I understand that this is a used car and you sold it to me “as is”, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable of me to ask for tires that have full air.nnYou know how when you rent a car or borrow a car from a friend, you perform the basic courtesy of filling up then gas? Midtown Honda doesn’t offer this courtesy either; when the car was give to me, it was on 2 bars. Not even half. I was willing to overlook this, particularly when Mike and Kofi had been very pleasant people to deal with, but after the flat tire, attempt to upsell roadside assistance when I just bought the car, as well as the hang up, there is no overlooking the absolute terrible experience this has been.
I bought an SUV from this dealership and had an excellent experience. My sales specialist was Energy. A kind, thoughtful, respectable young man. Overall, I'm pleased and satisfied. I would recommend Energy to anyone I know who's looking for a car.
