Nourish is hands-down the best breakfast spot in Victoria, and in fact one of the best restaurants overall. The food is farm-to-table, and prepared with love and care in delicious and often unexpected ways. The restaurant is dairy-free, gluten-free, and organic, and is loved by us and our kids. We particularly like the eggs Benny, which are prepared with a delicious cashew cream sauce. The seedy bread is also terrific. The coffee drinks are especially creative and are served with beautiful flourishes of design and usually edible flowers. The manager, Amira, is so incredibly kind and attentive. All in all, this is a wonderful restaurant.
Gem of gems in Victoria and probably in BC as a whole. Exquisite presentation all around, both in the beautiful plating of the kitchen selections and the layout of the place. The cafe drinks in particular were stunning, visually speaking. What truly makes this place stand out is the homemade quality of what seems to be the most fresh ingredients… both plates we had were delicately crafted: ample sweetness, tasteful seasonings, beautiful pairing of ingredients, humble portions, and a soaring sense of “freshness.” While prices are justifiably premium, it is more than fair considering the relentless quality of every offering on the menu and sincerity of the staff. All around, an incredibly memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Quite the standout in what might be one of the best spots on the island!
The cutest heritage house with delicious brunch made with fresh local ingredients. We had the half and half pancake and half Benny, the golden Benny and their bone broth. Everything was colourful, flavourful, and high quality. Highly recommend you go at least 15min before they open so you can snag the first seating.
Very unique menu! Beautiful location. I got the dandelion beverage with chaga in photos and was pleasantly surprised as to how tasty it was! The coffees and broths were also great quality. I had the tartine, my sister had sleeping beauty pancakes, and my dad had the golden Benny with extra bacon. Of the three, our favorite was the Benny especially the bacon and the pancakes. You will not be disappointed.
I went in skeptical. The menu online looked too healthy to be flavourful. Boy was I wrong! The oat pancakes were light as air. Everything was tasty. Incredible bacon. Good cup of coffee. Highly recommend!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience here! And will definitely be back. The food was delicious and super fresh ps I love how small their menu is! Always better to do a few things, but very well, instead of doing lots and nothing really right… The drinks were creative and very good. Perfect temperature to drink them straight away - not too hot, not too cold we ordered the beet latte and a cappuccino. Also, how cute and beautiful is this place, which is located in a cute house right in the neighborhood… Last but not least, they also have a little store/to go area in case you don’t want to go in for a sit down meal!
The food experience was unique, hearty, and tasty. Imperial Sunrise It complimented the Adventure Plate really well. Subtly sweet with a nice, subtle turmeric flavor. Velvet Mocha It was more chocolate-y than I thought. I was a bit apprehensive about the beetroot powder and sea salt but the powder was looked like it was more for presentation, and I couldn't taste the sea salt I don't like sea salt chocolate. I really enjoyed this as well. Adventure Plate Damn. . . The presentation for this dish was great. The seedy toast, cashew cream, and mushroom walnut pate was amazing. I can also eat the seedy toast by itself as a snack. The fermented veggie was also nice, especially the carrots. Some of the veggies like the mushrooms had too much vinegar in my opinion but that was the only downside. The service was also nice. Sleeping Beauty Pancake Just the right amount of sweetness, great compote, and unique pancake that had a banana bread texture more than a typical pancake texture. It was great. Sausage This was great. It was quite hot on the inside and very juicy with a hint of curry? flavor.
We were a group of six and we all loved the food and drinks we ordered. Everyone left happy and satisfied. Love the space, great food presentation, appreciate the thoughtfulness put into the menu and unique flavour combinations. No reservations accepted so best to show up about 45 mins ahead and stand in line.
One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Very tasteful, fresh and even though it was a big pancake the whip on top tasted very lite. Could not recommend this place more! Plus it's just a cool location. Go check it out. Vegetarian options: Tons of gluten free options Dietary restrictions: Great for people with lactose intolerance
Easily the best brunch I ever had. First of all the place feels like home, with lots of natural light and nice interior. The service was excellent and very attentive. But the main star is the food which was just so delicious. Especially as a vegan you have several options to choose from and it is easy so make other menu items vegan - you gotta love that! It’s not only delicious but also very filling. Couldn’t recommend it more and probably my favorite spot in Victoria!
