Such a delicious foods. Well seasoned with Indian spices. Choices for vegetarians and meat lovers. You can ask for mild or hot taste. Fish Pakora is wonderful and Korma Lamb is fantastic. Lovely place and warm/friendly staff.

The BEST butter chicken I’ve ever had, and at an affordable price too! Also loved the garlic naan. Service was pretty quick, and interior was cozy. The server was also really friendly and made sure we had a good meal. Was the perfect hole in the wall close to the harbor, worth the visit.

After looking for a new Indian restaurant to try I decided on trying the Coriander. My first impressions of the place, it is quiet open and spacious. The waitress was very warm and welcoming. I ordered the samosas, butter chicken Indian spicy with a garlic naan. The meal was well presented and tasted fresh and flavourful. I find most Indian restaurants to be lacking in flavour and spice but I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely come back and try more dishes.

Had a lovely breakfast with my two aunts. The coffee is fresh and strong — not always a given at breakfast joints. And a nice big mug too. They are struggling to find extra staff, but we felt service was good. All three of us enjoyed our meals — my veggie aunt had a wrap, my non-bread-eating aunt had the butter chicken breakfast poutine, and mine was the butter chicken eggs Benny. All great! Veggie aunt plans to bring her husband back, who is apparently obsessed with all things Indian, and my other aunt travelled extensively in India and loved the flavours today. The vegetarian entrees are the largest part of the menu, so definitely put it on your list if you are vegan or vegetarian. Exactly the kind of neighbourhood business I hope stays in James Bay for a long time. I look forward to trying dinner sometime. Note, they are closed Tuesdays.

Friendly staff with a cute, bright, colourful interior. We ordered the butter chicken eggs benny and the waffles. Both were amazing, but we loved running the waffles through the butter chicken sauce! We wish they had an option to put the eggs benny on a waffle instead of an English muffin, it was so good. Would definitely go back, I'll be craving their butter chicken soon.

Amazing place, the food portion is very generous compared to Indian restaurants in Mexico, so delicious and with the spicy you prefer I pick super spicy and was exactly what I was expecting, I recommend any lamb dish. I loved the mango lassi, and the lentil soup was super comforting and warm, perfect for a cold winter night. Overall fantastic restaurant, great host and authentic flavours.

A gem tucked away in James Bay Square about ten minutes walk from downtown. We had Lamb Karhai, Homestyle Chicken, Vegetable Masala, Daal Tadka, Chili Paneer Lachha Paranthas and Naans. Delicious and authentic flavors! Thank you Nisha, for being the perfect hostess!

I have been here for about 2 years now and this place has THE BEST BUTTER CHICKEN IN VIC HANDS DOWN !! The rest of the food was amazing too but I was really looking forward to the butter chicken !! Staff are friendly and attentive as well !! Will definately be bringing friends back here not just because of the overall experience but because of their delicious creamy butter chicken !! If you're a kiwi, this is the closest if not better than the butter chicken from back home !

We ordered the butter chicken because of all the positive reviews on here, and we also ordered Navratan Korma. The korma completely stole the show. The cinnamon flavor was incredible. It's the best korma I've ever had. I'd definitely recommend this place. The garlic naan was 10/10 as well.

I get the feeling that this place is known for breakfast, but I just had the best butter chicken that I have had in my life for dinner there this evening - and the naan made in a wood fired oven - amazing! The whole family enjoyed every bite of their meals. Our dinners were outstanding! We will be making this a regular outing!
