I am very impressed by the customer service that I received from New Canadian Drain and Plumbing. I called for service after 5pm thinking that I wouldn't be seen today and surprisingly, I had a technician come to my home by 8pm. Danny was very professional and completed the work quickly. He explained the process and was very personable. I want to thank all those involved in the call today. I even received a call to indicate that the technician was on his way. Would recommend this company to anyone! Thank you New Canadian Drain and Plumbing Ltd.

Business SCAM ALERT !!!!!

They are fraud and never ever call them. 
When I asked them through email, they said 'free estimation'. 
A plumber came and looked at the sink for a minute and did nothing, charged me $214 !!! (then, what was 'free' exactly?) 

I asked them to refund, but they THREATENED! me to spread my personal information to others. 

NOT just worst, they should not be allowed to run business. They are acting as a scammer, ripping off suckers. 

This is unacceptable! NEVER CALL THEM!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! My mother had two faucets replaced and the price she paid was outrageous. She selected two faucets, and was charged $420 for each of them. In addition to the price of the faucets, she was charged $560 for the installation of both. She was also charged $300 to install two shut-off valves under the sinks.

I was apoplectic when I saw the faucets that she selected (she was told by the plumber they were of the highest quality), and what she was charged. The two faucets were a generic brand and of average quality, and were $129 and $69, respectively, from Rona and Home Depot. My mother was told that she shouldn't ever buy from the aforementioned companies because their plumbing supplies are lacking in quality, and that it is better to buy from the plumbing company. She selected the faucets from the "Plumber's Book" (it was the New Canadian pricing book) which she was under the impression, thanks in no large part to the plumber, that the book applied to all plumbing companies in the city. She ended up paying $640 more for the faucets than what Home Depot was selling them for - that is a 320% markup!!!!!!

The price of the job, as I have come to find out from my own research and talking to three other plumbers, one of whom is my work colleague's partner, should have been no more than $900 (my mom paid $1,700 plus HST). 

Not that I am looking for sympathy but this company took advantage of an elderly woman who had no knowledge of plumbing pricing. They took advantage of her trust and vulnerability in the moment. When I explained to my mother the extent of how much she paid she was in tears for days. She subsequently cancelled a second job with New Canadian which was also quoted $2,000 more than the plumber we are currently using. The contract for the second job failed to provide an itemized cost for every aspect of the work being done, and a firm time frame for completion. They also asked for a 50% down payment, which my mother foolishly agreed to, before they were going to start work on the second project. NEVER EVER PUT DOWN MORE THAN 10% on any home improvement project. 

This company should be ashamed of itself. I remain angry and sickened by their business practices. I've already told everyone at my work (over 150 employees) never to use New Canadian Plumbing. This is a company lacking in business ethics. 

This review should be ZERO stars but I had to select one in order to post this review.

We had a big clog in the kitchen. 
We called at 7am, and Mike was here 10:30 am. He worked tirelessly for 6 hours! He really cared and did way, way more than we expected. He gave detailed explanations and provided helpful suggestions. He left the kitchen clean and tidy. 
We strongly recommend the company, and particularly, Mike. Thank you!!

Lino came to fix two frozen pipes that had burst. We were very impressed by his professional and thorough service. He explained everything carefully and made sure we agreed before proceeding with repairs. I'd highly recommend him.
