I grew up around this area! I never had the chance to leave a review when I usually come here with my parents. It’s a great supermarket, especially for families! There is a food court, a gaming area, a play ground for kids, and a lot food choices to choose from! I came here today because I needed to buy Gochujang and they have it! I recommend coming here : The swirl cakes are my fave as well!
For those looking for a market with many options of Asian products and some other imported products, National is certainly the place to visit!nnThe market is very large and well sectored with produce, frozen foods, butchers, fishmongers, grocery stores and beauty products. The variety of products is truly enormous and prices vary greatly depending on the product you are looking for.nnThe fish sector, due to the aquariums, has very wet floors. But something that bothered me was a customer with a dog inside the department even though it was in a stroller the place is not suitable for dogs or cats.nnThe produce area is well sanitized, with a lot of variety, in addition to being constantly wet.nnEven though the place is large, it has few cashiers for service, generally two people in the grocery exit area, and one person in the area that has the food buffets.nnShopping carts are locked and you need to use a 1 dollar coin to unlock them.nnFor customers with physical mobility or other disabilities, the unit has access via escalators and elevators, and has motorized carts. Unfortunately, they do not have facilities for visual or auditory customers.nnThe market is connected to the shopping mall, so it has access to many stores, restaurants and parking with access for disabled customers. The location is close to several bus stops, but very far from the metro line. Worth knowing.
Mind blown away!!! Recently moved to TO and needed somewhere to buy some Asian staples. This was much more than that. Fantastic prices for the quantity of fresh produce, hot food and it carried a good selection of western/european food items too. Definitely my go to now and highly recommend.
Pleasantly surprised by this place, thought it was any other supermarket but when we walked in, it was huge! There was a playground, arcade, modern foodcourt with sushi/bbt/chinese bbq/variety of hot foods. The price was not too bad either! The sushi tray for $15 came with some great rolls that tasted better than average supermarket sushi!
We came for food. They open around 11, and have deals towards closing time to get rid of their fresh food of the day. The price is very affordable considering the portions, and they even have great dimsum!nnWe got steamed lotus buns and they were not to our liking and we asked for an exchange and they were kind enough to exchange for us.nnPlenty of space to eat and has a playground for kids.nnPlenty of parking as well, and attached to an amazing grocery store for asian foods!
