BEWARE OF MOLDY PRODUCTS.nnI bought a beef roll from the bakery section. When I got home after eating half of it, I noticed a large green and white moldy spot inside, growing on the beef and pasty. I bought it before the best before date.nnI took it back to the store to request a refund. The worker said it's exchanges only. I told her she should check all the other beef rolls as they're probably all moldy, so no I cannot accept an exchange. This made her visibly upset as her facial expression changed. I explained to her I unknowingly bought a moldy product that you willingly sold, and it was before the best before date. She eventually relented and gave me my money back for that item. She slapped some coins on the table, then chucked the beef roll into the garbage, seemingly wanting to make a scene. The customer service is very poor. I didn't say this, but, if you are upset about your store's low quality standards, that's not my problem.nnUpon googling it seems like this is a common issue that this location has with the bakery section. Beware.
C&C Supermarket is one of the best places I’ve found for Asian groceries in the area. They have an incredible selection of products from across Asia, with aisles full of snacks, drinks, sauces, frozen foods, fresh produce, and specialty items that are hard to find elsewhere.nnI was especially happy to find so many of my favourite Asian snacks and drinks all in one place. The variety is impressive, and they carry both well-known brands and unique products that you don’t typically see in regular grocery stores.nnThe prices were also very reasonable, and there were plenty of great deals throughout the store, making it easy to stock up without spending a fortune. Everything was well organized, making it simple to browse and discover new products along the way.nnWhether you’re looking for authentic Asian ingredients or just want to try new snacks and beverages, I highly recommend stopping by. I’ll definitely be coming back to restock my favourites and explore even more of what they have to offer. Great selection, great prices, and a fantastic shopping experience!
Large and clean supermarket with lots of variety of snacks from Asia, sushi, dim sum, meat, seafood and produce.nnReasonable prices and good sales too.nn20% off hot foods, dim sum and sushi at end of day. They were discounted when I was there at 7 pm on a Saturday.
I've been to C&C a few times now and it never disappoints. You may not realize how big this market is until you walk in and find an extensive fresh vegetable and fruit section, rice and noodles, sauces, snacks, and fresh food made ready to go.nnPrepared food, jn my opinion is affordable given the price and the amount you get. Lots of variety of Chinese food items to choose from , ranging from dumplings to pan fried buns and steamed dim sum. Of course, if you want deep fried they have deep-fried wonton, shrimp, and more. The is also a seating area if you want to eat your prepared meals inside the store.nnEasy to get to with lots of parking or NY TTC.nnNo issues with the staff.nnOverall, pleasant experience each time.
