Prices are great, and on the app you can select digital savings for flyer items. When I went yesterday, I noticed that the corn was popular. Some restocking and cleaning would give this location a competitive edge. They cater to Caribbean staples that are always available.
While I was shopping with my 2 year old I was being watched the whole time by security. He waited until I came around all the isles and my toddler kept pointing at him saying mama look police officer he doesn’t know the difference yet. As soon as I got to the self check out, he stood there and watched me the whole time. First time there and it was absolutely the worst experience because of him! Never in my life have I ever had that happen to me. I will not be coming back there again. No issues with the workers, they are very friendly and take the time to help you look for what it is you need.
They really improved the interior of this place. Produce quality is much better and the store itself is nice and clean. Great discounted items. Meat needs a little bit of work and it would be great if they could expand the hot table to include something other than chicken.
I have a terrible experience at this store. I saw on internet when I purchased $ 50 dollars gift card then I will receive $ 10 dollars back from Food Basic. However after I purchased a gift card. I didn’t receive $ 10 dollars gift card. I told to the cashier why I don’t receive anything. The cashier tried to call to the store manager. After 15 minutes the cashier told me about the situation. They can’t do anything because I have to let them know before I purchase a gift card. How can I know that the cashier didn’t know about this promotion. Because it is on the Food Basic online flyer. I was really surprised . The store advertised some deal when the customer asked for it. They said they don’t know. This is unacceptable. The store misleading to the customer.
Sells expired milk! Today is March 25 and this bag of milk is expired today. Products like this should not be on the shelves at all.nnMy mom purchased this thinking it was for may 25, she came home for a closer look at saw it expires today. We would like this rectified!
