This store has a lot of expired food. When I first walked in I grabbed some guacamole. I typically check expiry dates every time I shop so when I looked I noticed almost all the Guacamole was expired. As I moved through the store I realized most of the shelves had expired food. Choose a better place to shop.
Great local Metro store. Has all the main essentials + some higher quality specialty items. I want to give a shout out to Karen at the Delicatessen section. I went in today and she was incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service - truly a stand out!!
Good grocery store with freshly prepared foods like chicken, potato’s, pizza. Has a bakery, and meat/fish section. Fresh produce, and house supplies. Free parking outside but parking lot is usually pretty busy all the time.
This is a good branch to shop but felt like the things needed to be replenished regularly. It has a wide variety of flower bouquets which is wonderful.
I think it's one of the smallest Metro stores in the City, but it's one of the unfriendliest as well.nI never was able to find a flyers by the entrance, but now they complete discontinued them. There are a lot of sinersnThey keep them in customer service area only and you always have to ask for it.nPeople in front of the store looking at you as at potential suspect.nStore made ground meat always quite questionable quality. Couple of times bought it and returned. Darker meat was hidden inside. Absolutely appalling.nPrices , most of the time ridiculously high. Small container of one day old small fried potatoes was priced at $19.99 a kilogram!!?? Small loaf of regular bread, backed in the store $4.99-5.99. What a deal.nNo wonder you have so much of expired, reduced bread on clearance racks.nAnother thing- they throwing all reduced products, but not reducing more than 30%.nYou could donate them to regular beggars in front of the store or sell them for a $1 or 50 cents to poor seniors by end of the day.nCorporate greed. No shame or sympathy to neede seniors or poor people.nProduce in the store quite often not fresh.nSelection of the items quite limited, but mostly not very fresh and unreasonable expensive.nQuite a different experience, in comparison with other Metro stores in the area.
