Charming lodge style hotel. One of only two hotels within Mount Rainier National Park. This one is accessible year-round.

I stayed at the Inn in a guest room without a bath. The Inn is old and dated but comfortable. I knew I was getting myself into a stay at an Inn made for hikers; not vacationing sightseers. So what it had was what I expected and it fills the needs of staying a night in the park. It was nice to experience, what feels like, a more authentic part of the national park system; closer to rustic lodging in the park.

Wonderful staff but understaffed during winter. Very slow service in dining room which isn't full...but only one or two servers. Be patient and don't come hungry. Otherwise, lovely establishment that is humble. For older folks.

Really? Eggs Benedict sounded great so we confirmed that the English muffins would be toasted and buttered and the server says "yeah yeah" and to no surprise they come out raw!! That's not being picky... that's merely pointing out a kitchen staff that should be sent back to McDonalds!!! These places throw anyone they can get into the kitchen and hope for the best. Never again or anyone we know will spend a dime here. The front desk people we interacted with checking in were top notch hospitality professionals however. Room was good and should be for the outrageous price.
