National Car Rental

I have used National regularly over the past 5 years for personal use. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Good selection of vehicles. None of the billing errors experienced at competitors. What more could anyone want? Highly recommended.

Have used this location twice so far. Getting a car is always a fast experience. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I rented a Luxury car which, as it turns out, had no cap on the windshield wiper fluid reservoir, and the fluid seemed to be pure water with no antifreeze. Couldn't see a darn thing while driving up north in -20 degree weather. Not safe whatsoever. Otherwise a good experience.

Customer service left much to be desired. Also the fact that they rent cars in -10 degree weather that don't have winter tires on is ludicrous. I almost got into an accident within the first half an hour of my journey, nearly sliding into the car ahead of me when we stopped at a stop sign. This should honestly be illegal, Quebec has that law right...

Always a pleasure receiving excellent efficient and prompt service at the Wellington Location. My cars are always ready and waiting when I get there. No line up or waiting around. I live in Oshawa and travel 1.5hrs by transit to rent from this location because of how well they look after me. The whole staff is awesome. Friendly, kind, professional, they even know my kids by their names. Always asking about them and wishing the best for them. They know I love the Nissan Murano and always make sure its available for me. Cars are always brand new, either 400km or under 4000km driven. Clean and fully equipped with all the technology you need. Bluetooth, Sirius satellite, Nav, lane assistant, and panoramic roof. Seats are always comfy. Fuel efficient so far has been the Hyundai Sonata, Mercedes Benz for cars and Nissan Murano for SUV. My worst fuel efficient car was Toyota Camry and Nissan Maxima. Above all I had an excellent all around service with the personals and the vehicles. I'll travel the distance to be serviced at this location any day.

I arrived at the location on time to pickup my pre-booked full-size car. The agent was extremely rude in processing my request in both attitude and service delivery. I was given a lower grade car cause she said there are no other cars (not true cause i saw more than 10 around). Also instead of an apology she didn't refund me for price difference. In addition she ried to blame it on me for renting at noon rather than 9AM where more cars are available in shop. I am very disappointed with her attitude. Reuined my day.
