Usually easy to deal with! But sometimes it depends on who you get on the phone for support. Overall, I like their car share service. It's super convenient, and a great alternative to going into the car rental place. I can easily access a car and drop off at a convenient location for me.
Disastrous customer service. They want you to sign agreement allowing them to charge your credit card for any supposed damages to the car, charged upfront and without letting you know, and they refuse to clarify the maximum amount for this. I asked specifically and they either answered a question I didn't ask or ignored my written questions for a whole month. They are asking you to sign agreement allowing them to charge a limitless amount of money if they so choose - to your CREDIT CARD, without knowing your credit card limit and without clarifying anything whatsoever with you beforehand. They showed ZERO willingness to clarify and reassure me on the maximum amount they would hypothetically charge to my credit card. Their agents on the phone replied with "ask your credit card what coverage they provide"! Eventually I'd had enough of this nonsense and cancelled my application. I will never use their care share arm or even rent from Enterprise in Canada.
Been a member for about 8 months. I think for short runs in and around the city the value is great since you don't even pay for the gas. Haven't rented a car yet that I'd say was in bad shape. For the times I've had to contact customer service I was pleased. The agents were helpful especially when someone else had parked in a designated spot they ensured that I wasn't charged for the extra time it took until that person moved their vehicle. Note very well though that if you plan to keep the car over 6hours or drive over 200km in a day you might as well go to regular Enterprise.
Cheapest and most easily available car share in the toronto. Been using for years now and find it much cheaper than Zipcar. Customer service is overall pretty good, cheapest in the city and much cleaner than othet carshares ive used in other city. Pretty wide array of cars and sizes Usually pretty understanding and accommodating if you make a mistake or are late.
I've used the service for a couple of years and it's really gone downhill. When they introduced the 90 minute minimum they made the service unviable for the shorter errands that I originally got it for. Twice I've had issues where the car wouldn't start and I needed to contact customer service to get it addressed. Both times it appeared to be related to an issue in the electronic system used to ensure that only members are driving. Customer service is generally friendly and helpful but I don't want to waste 10 minutes getting an issue fixed when I'm paying in 15 minute increments and it was their computer system's fault. I wouldn't consider it a viable alternative to car ownership if you actually NEED a car anything even if that need is only occasional.
I've been with carshare for a year, first on a student plan and now on a shared plan. It's economically a good alternative to owning a car for us because gas is included. Customer service is 5/5 which is why we wanted to write a review! Very easy to get in touch with about issues and always pleasant.
I had multiple reservations booked for a weekend which was my first time using the service. Although I was initially quite excited and appreciative to have the option to rent via Enterprise CarShare my experience was more stressful that expected. Issue #1: The car was not available at the original time of pickup. Adding to the frustration, when I called the 24/7 support centre the line disconnected initially because I was in the basement so I had to walk upstairs and outside to call back. Upon rebooking the reservation with the agent 10 mins after the original pickup time, the reservation pickup time wasn't adjusted and the car was re-reserved for the vehicle that wasn't available. So I waited back in the garage not knowing what to do. Thankfully, the car was returned within a couple minutes by the previous driver but now I am almost 20 mins late. I was also charged $35 for returning the car late. This fee was later credited due to the circumstance. Issue #2: I was running late returning the car by about 10 mins due to unusual and heavy traffic which resulted in a late fee of $35. It is my fault for not calling because of my ignorance of not being aware of this policy but it is a nuisance especially having to call while driving. Issue #3: I noticed a crack on my windshield in the middle of my trip because I didn't do an inspection during the pickup time. I wish there was a visible checklist in the car prior to driving away and at minimum a 5 minute grace period to factor in this step. I did inform Enterprise CarShare a couple days later which again is my ignorance for not reporting it sooner but having to perform this step also takes away time from the reservation especially when you're in a rush and worried about returning the car on time. You have to add additional time to the reservation to factor in these steps. Also factor in time to pump gas which I did as well which was a 15 minute detour. It's a lot to consider when renting a vehicle via Enterprise Carshare due to unforeseen and likely circumstances and the additional fees that will incur. I will opt to use the service if it is an absolute necessity.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Charging the next annual subscription fee days before the current plan actually expires. Hanged up the phone right before I wanted to ask a question regarding my account subscription. Please do not rent from here!
Outstanding customer service by Darnell at the regent location. Want enterprise to know what an excellent employee they have. He helped make my experience as a new customer easy, and quick, he help resolved the problem I was facing. He listened, and problem-solved, went beyond to meet my needed, he was very respectful and kind. His basically the stander for true customer service.
I was a bit worried about renting at this location given the few negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved by the great customer service that I received. Particularly from Trevor and Devon. Great experience and would recommend this location.
