Lower your expectations before coming here. A really small lot that looks pretty sketch. They do inspect the cars but never fix any problem if there is any. The other day I went there and test drove a 2009 Ford F-150. Noticed a bunch of problems right away. The salesman realized it and gave me an offer to buy “as is”. If you are a mechanic type of person or know stuff about cars maybe you can get a good deal. But if it’s your first time buying a used car I do not recommend here, unless you know how to negotiate the price down by a lot.
My daughter bought a car here a few months ago. Everyone at MSA was very nice, especially Matthew. He even told us if there was a problem with the car in 2-3 weeks he would take care of it. Within a couple days the engine light did come on and I brought the car back where I was told what they thought the problem was. Turns out it was a different problem than first anticipated but I'm very happy to report that even though we've now had the car for a few months, Thomas was very professional and we came to an agreement to get the car fixed with one of the mechanics that they deal with locally. I was very pleased with Thomas and his willingness to work with us and I would definitely recommend them to others' looking to buy a used car.
I recently purchased a used car from MSA Auto Shore. The transaction went very smoothly. I had a knowledgeable friend check out the car for me beforehand. He test drove it, brought it to a mechanic and then made an offer. The following day, I went to test drive it myself. Sam made the whole process very easy. He honoured the deal my friend had made. This included fixing the front brakes which the mechanic had discovered needed replacement. I do wonder if before purchase, this would have been disclosed by the dealership if the car hadn’t been seen by a mechanic?? They arranged for the brake work to be done immediately. When I returned, the work was done and an ICBC representative was there to do the insurance. I was also given the CarFax report which I had already done myself and the report from their mechanic for the inspection when car was received on their lot. It would have been nice to receive this paperwork before purchasing the vehicle as it enables one to make a more informed decision. I was promised a replacement gasket and paperwork for the extended warranty asap. Both were delivered as promised.
Absolutely a great place to buy a vehicle! Have bought several from Thomas in past few years. Was NEVER pressured into buying a car and in fact was steered clear from looking at a car that did not meet my needs! When I had an issue with a vehicle I just purchased, it was fixed without complaint or question. Everyone in office very courteous and polite. Can definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good quality used vehicle! Deric
I spoke with Sam and he was beyond helpful with my budget and listened to my needs to be met and even detoured me away from certain cars that he said were no good for me!I'm pregnant with 2 dogs and a huge adventurer he did show me one vehicle absolutely fell in love with. I asked about some buffering and he was gladly able to do that for me make the vehicle feel brand new to me if purchased..i did not go for it as my spouse said it is a vehicle with expensive parts to fixland rover which I cannot afford when that does happen but the service was absolutely amazing!!
Went in to take a look at a car a few weeks ago. The salesman was decent but not very personable. Do not be fooled by the pictures they post on their ads/craigslist. They make the engine look very clean but in reality, the car I looked at was in bad shape. I was given the key to start a car up that I had been eyeing for quite some time. As soon as I started it, the engine was making a very rough noise, followed by smoke coming out of it minutes later. Underneath the oil cap proved that the this car had indeed had a major engine problem as there was sludge and burnt bits on it, as well as the dipstick. On top of that, the ATF dip was stuck and I could not pull it out. This dealership is just like every other sleazy place in this area, they take cars off people and bigger dealerships that look great but have met a terrible fate. Do not go here. Also, I have just purchased a car through private sale instead. DO NOT respond to this post, MSA. Shape up.
Do NOT go here. Walked in to Look at a 2001 Outback H6 They said there where no leaks, there was a lot of condensation on all the windows. I started digging around, found Rust and mold in the spare tire wheel aria. along with pooling water. Asked about history they said no issues. The coolant was a mixing with oil and had a head gasket issue. worst of all 3 months later i saw an independent ad for a 2001 outback. I checked it out. The moment I saw it in person recognized the vehicle, and the guy trying to sell it to me. The guy lied through his teeth not realizing it was once a potential customer.
Sam and Thomas were great. They went above and beyond for me on their 6 month warranty when an unforeseen problem presented itself, including loaning me a car so i could get to work whilst the vehicle was being fixed. I highly recommend them, very happy. 5/5
Thomas has been a great help in getting my first car. He was patient enough to understand my need and respond professionally. The best part was making a followup call to see if i have any concerns. Thank you Thomas, I really appreciate it.
My husband bought an SUV from them back in December 2018 and they said we can go back in a few days after the purchase to pick up the seat that wasn't in the car at the time and the spare key. Few days after they told us to come back later, then we were told to come back after the new years, then we were told the previous owner said they will drop off the items at the dealership. Just this Monday I called and they said their manager will pick it up from the previous owners tuesday and I can pick it up Wednesday which is today. I called this morning and they said the previous owner will drop it off but didn't say what time. They said they will call us but its 30 minutes to their closing time and I haven't heard from them and they avoiding my call. Horrible horrible customer service. If you ain't got the seat and spare key tell us up front don't beat around the bush.
