Very eclectic and fun hotel. Rooms are a little small, but worked great for me being a solo traveler. Close to the red line. The staff were all very pleasant, and nice. Has a Zombie Taco on the premises that also has a small convenience store in it, though it would be nice if they had Vegan taco options. The room has a very quirky phone that also tells you bedtime stories. Best of all they have a Mortal Kombat 2 arcade game in the lobby. Overall it was a great stay, and I will use them again. Highly recommend!
Super cool and quirky hotel. The staff at the front desk are so friendly and helpful! The room was clean and compact. Perfect for a work trip. The lobby is also a great spot to relax and catch up on work too. And the wallpaper in the elevator is so cute! Zombie taco located inside was good and convenient. The hotel itself is in a very convenient spot in downtown Chicago.
Absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was very amazing and accommodating. Loved the feeling of being welcomed right away. Was an awesome atmosphere with the downstairs away. The view of the room was amazing. The room was smaller but we didn't need much space with the one queen. We will be staying here every time we come to chi.Rooms: 5/5
We had great experiences staying here for several nights. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel has its own parking lot and is dog friendly. It’s very convenient to walk to Michigan Ave and other popular places. I like the design of its lobby. A great place to have fun with friends.
Absolutely the best location. Our group was there celebrating a bachelorette party and we were in walking distance to all of the best places. Awesome coffee shops nearby, near the going out scene also very close to some iconic restaurants. The hotel itself seemed to be one of the most popular places to get a drink in the area as well, which is always a good time. We’re very accommodating to the needs of our bride will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Chicago. Rooms: Rooms were cozy and great for a group of girls Walkability: Less than a mile away from all types of activities
I came here for the first time a couple months ago and loved it. While the hotel itself is unique and fun, what really stood out to me was the service, especially from Andrés. He greeted me with a big smile and enthusiasm and was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and attentive throughout my stay. May sound dramatic but it’s the reason I’ve returned to the hotel again - I feel like you don’t get that level of service in many hotels within the area. Looking forward to future stays!
Such a great place!! The check-in was super easy. Loved loved loved the simplicity to the room along with the amazing taco restaurant inside. Also, the bar experience was superb. White wine was chilled to perfection. John was out bartender and gave great recommendations!Rooms: 5/5
My train got cancelled when I was supposed to take a trip to Chicago. An angel named Crystal answered the phone and helped me move my stay, which relieved a lot of stress I was feeling. I stayed at the Moxy the next week. I liked it enough that I stayed there again for my next trip after that. The staff are all very nice. The hotel is walking distance from a lot of restaurants. The hotel's bar has good drinks. Brandon is a good and friendly bartender. The tacos are delicious and affordable also. The room is very minimalist, but that's all I needed for my stay anyway. I got some GREAT sleep in the hotel bed.
This was a super fun stay! Well worth the price and the staff was amazing. The moxy is well decorated and has the best atmosphere. Definitely would stay here again : special note to the bartenders they were very nice and we loved talking with them throughout our stay.Rooms: 5/5
This place is so nice! I was smack dab in the middle of Chicago and I couldn't have wanted anything else from my stay. The bartenders were really nice, especially John and Danae! John’s old fashioned was absolutely perfect and Danae was super funny! I'm not the type to normally write reviews but Moxy in Chicago blew me away. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here.
