The Darling

The library is my favorite part of this spot! I love the dark ambiance and the performers! They have a decent menu. We ordered the Vegan Spring Sweet Potato Gnocchi and pizza! The drink Fantastic fox was a bit bitter! The 18% gratuity was automatically charged. Minus a star since It was a bit hard to get the servers attention since every interaction is made through the app in terms of ordering food.

Love this place!!! Staff is very friendly. Drinks are good; my favorite is the secret garden but also liked the red bull cocktail. The library is a cute gem with a huge scrabble board, tons of books, little shows/acts, fireplace, and an intimate atmosphere that I do prefer over the ballroom.

The ambience is night. We made reservations for 8:30 pm and placed an order for drinks but it came after 45 mins as they had issues with the system. There was a live performance as well which was . Very less veg food options. Mushroom fries and cauliflower was good. The gnocchi wasn’t good at all. The drinks were okay. Overall a good place.

I had unique fun experience in the library with a very cool performance. The staff were friendly. The food was average- It’s definitely not a dinner spot but I enjoyed snacking while catching up with friends and enjoyed the performance.

Such a fantastic atmosphere! Very romantic and elegant. They had a live DJ and his music was FIRE! The drinks were very delicious but everything was a little pricey. The service was pretty slow for even a Friday night.

I dont have words to explain how this place was and what an amazing time we had there. We celebrated our friends proposal there and we were party of 10. They served us really really welll, ordered bunch of drinks but our fav were old fashioned, mr fox, rose garden. Cheese platter was stsr of the night in terms of appetizer! Loved everything the setting, vibe and special thanks to catelyn our amazing server. Thanks again!

Had a very fun work outing here! I really enjoyed the Fantastic Mr. Fox cocktail and the food was great too. Our table favorites were the short rib beignets, the cauliflower crust pizza, and the brownie! The key lime pie was delicious as well.

Wouldn't come back here again. At the restaurant they messed up getting the right transaction amount a couple times and had to keep charging my card. Then a few hours later just before midnight when Im about to sleep they call my personal phone because apparently they messed up AGAIN and needed me to give them my credit card information...for JUST 7 dollars. Utterly embarrassing and unprofessional. Not sure if everything just happened to go wrong but the whole experience wasn't that great either. You go sit at a table and you order from your phones so barely any service, interaction or banter with bartenders in the ballroom. Then 2 drinks took 40+ minutes to come out lol. tl;dr don't come here. it's not worth the headache if they mess up which they did a lot during my first and only visit

Perfect location to grab cocktails and appetizers. The cocktails were very unique but phenomenal. The darling buds of winter was the group favorite out of all the cocktails we tried. Highly recommend the vegetarian beignets as well. Definitely would come back here for the cocktails; however not so much for the appetizers

The Darling is such a great experience. I hadn't been here since 2019 & was eager to get back. They've done a great job ensuring guests feel safe when visiting including staggered entry, reservation times & contactless ordering & payment. Even though the aesthetic is dark with rooms lined in leather sofas & dark wood, the vibe is effortlessly cool thanks to the music, cocktails & staff who are friendly, accessible & responsive. They offer live entertainment on Thursdays & I think DJ on the weekends. The cocktails & food...YUMMY! We had the Old Fashioneds & Vieux Carré. You must try the pizza too! Can't wait to get back!
