Motel 6 Portland East - Troutdale

I already submitted my comments regarding this location. Only one person I would recommend is Shelly she is very knowledgeable about your business and goes out of her way to make me feel welcomed and secure. Troutdale is visited by a lot of unsavory characters and I was confronted by some people that even threatened me because I looked out my window because I thought someone was in harms way. I called the front desk at about 330-400 am. They did nothing. When I asked about the situation the following morning as I was checking out it was not even reported to the manager who lives on property. Previously a few days prior I was walking my dog and found a cell phone in the grass. So I turned it into the front desk it was only the base of the phone missing the battery and the back of the phone. While on another walking if my dog I found the othe half of the phone. So like a good citizen I took it to the office. When I asked about the phone during checkout I inquired how long I would have to wait if the phone continued to be unclaimed. They acted like sorry we gave it to the manager. I would have to wait 30 days. If I had not asked I am sure I will never hear anything about the phone. They acted like oh it’s no big deal that the prior night shift didn’t report the threat they said oh some people act like that. I was there over a week and I probably won’t recommend that location to anyone. Not even I’m sorry that happened to you or can we offer you a discount or comp part of your stay. Or are you alright? I had to ask for a receipt which was over 500 dollars. Only care about taking your money. Not caring about my safety. I am a frequent customer when I need lodging. Yeah “we’ll leave the light on for you” but don’t care about the customer just their money had to beg to get clean towels and the handicap bathroom shower floods every time. Did care about that either.

Morgan, the front desk clerk is a breathe of fresh air. She is an asset to Motel 6 without a doubt. The customer service she provides exceeded my expectations.10/10. Very thankful to have been able to have Morgan handle my reservations etc. She really went above and beyond her duties as front desk clerk. My stay was pleaseant and the rest of the employees were also very kind an did a great job. My house keeper Ashley did a stand up job when it comes to a clean refreshing room. Great staff. I would recommend you to everyone!!!!! I am a 72 yr old disabled woman whom my daughter was desperate to get out of a nursing home. My mobility severely damaged. However your graciousness in allowing me to swim in whatever I had that was appropriate convinced me to fight my fears and get in the water for the first time in years and then spend the night in a sparkling clean room. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will be back!!!! I have shared with family and friends and my gratefulness comes from deep within my heart. It was my boyfriend's birthday weekend and we where also there for a wedding..My boyfriend is a veteran marine and he was glad to see that there was a military discount as well as the front lady being so nice and friendly.. we woke up Saturday morning to a big puddle of water all on the floor under out bathroom sink and water leaking all over the top around the sink and when we went down and told the front desk she wrote it down and they where quick to get it fixed for us with no problem..it is a very convenient location for going to downtown Portland and for the wedding because it was right down the road at the mcminimans.. we had a great experience and would recommend here to anyone and we would stay again here again.

This Motel 6 is great. We called late at night and they were able to book us in 5 minutes for that same night. When we had laundry to do the next day, they let us stay an extra hour for free to get our laundry done. The floors and shower floor was a bit dirty, but the rest was pretty good. No real complaints. Also, the staff, was firendly and helpful.
