Budget Lodge - Portland West

The management team is very hospitable! Best VALUE in Portland, Oregon. The hotel room is very clean. The hotel manager is extremely helpful. We got in a day late because of late international flights however the hotel manager bent over backwards to accommodate us.

Mrs. B was so accommodating! This may not be the Hilton but the service is WAY better. I read the bad reveiws here and laugh because this place is what is Is. If you are looking for the Hilton go downtown .Mrs. B has no , absolutely zero commination problems. She speaks better English than I do for God's sake, so the review below is a blatant lie. If you are looking for inexpensive , decently clean and very quiet this is the place to relax. There is a 711 next door and a recriational weed store across the street. The management is friendly and the jacuzzi tubs are huge ! Hot water lasts all night. Plus ,the showers are nice as well. Listen up construction workers ! This is perfect for what we do when we are doing it away from home.

hands down the WORST HOTEL EVER. a pay by the hour hotel for taking hookers to would be better. 1. I rented the room for 2 friends. we wanted to hang out with them and go home...the hotel is near our house. they said no. we left. 2. my friends reported that the managers of the property walked around all night getting very close to doors and listening and being in general...and i quote "quite creepy and outrageous". violating privacy and keeping my friends up all night worried. 3. the water quality was not acceptable or even potable....and we live in portland that has very high water quality demands. 4. the ice machine ice tasted of mold and rot 5. my friends had NO WATER. 6. they power washed the building from 6am to 8am. UPDATE we went to the hotel room tonight. and found that the owners had locked us out of our pre paid night that i bought for my friends. they wouldnt give us our belongings that were in the room unless i paid 150 dollars in trumped up fees. cops were called. the owners refused to relenquish our personal belongings. the cops said they couldnt do anything. there is hundreds of dollars of things in the room that we cant get to. the owners say there were tabacco butts in the room and that 4 people and a dog stayed there last night. i walked my friends to the lodging....walking my dog...i live a mile away. nobody smokes. the water wasnt potable. they stole our belongings. they wont give them back because they cant charge my card because i purchaced through priceline. i now have to pay my friends back for their lost belongings. did i mention cops were involved?

Thankfully I checked the bed before sitting down. I found what appears to be a broken crack pipe on the bed. Along with a twig and some change. When I confronted the front desk clerk he acted like it was no big deal. The towels look like they haven't been washed and there was a loofah in the shower
