Ray was the sales associate I had today. I went in to look at wedding bands. I found one I was interested in, I was told that it was a piece that was to be discontinued and IF I bought it today they would give me a sales price that was ONLY available today. I felt they were trying too hard to get me to buy it. Ray wanted to start paperwork to order in the correct size ASAP. I told her I had to think about it and thanked her for her help. Ray asked me what’s holding me back from purchasing it today. I said my fiancé hasn’t even seen it, I wanted to make sure he liked it. Ray’s response was to send him a picture so I can just buy it today. To me, that’s a bit extreme and makes me not want to shop here in the future.
Very unprofessional, disrespectful. Don't listen to long time clients, come up with unlawful "rules". Asked personal questions that are not related to the issue. Michael Hill, you lost a client because of the staff at this location.
I went into the Market Mall Michael Hill store after a phone call with a MH associate. Entered store on Jan 22, 2022. Hao, a sales associate, was absolutely rude to me right from the beginning. He was trying to convince me not to make changes to my ring that I already had planned. E.g. changing the small stones on the side of the ring that rub against my other fingers and cause irritated/sore skin. Hao was telling me all of his opinions and reasons for not making adjustments that I had agreed upon with a previous sales associate over the phone prior to going into the store. I will NOT be going back here for business again. I was also told to wait for the manager for 20 minutes because he wasn't there when I requested to speak with a manager. After stating that "I would like to be able to wear my engagement ring without experiencing pain", Hao shrugged his shoulders. I took my ring back from him and got out of there. Andy is the manager name. Not impressed at all.
We bought two beautiful bracelets , yesterday from this store. It was again a very nice experience dealing with staff at this store. We have been repeatedly going to this store since last 7 years and have always experienced an exceptional service and discounts. “Shyamali” is always our goto person. She is professional and honest person. Keep up the good work Shyamali!!!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Michael Hill Market Mall. Our sales woman was Nova. She went above and beyond for us. I can honestly say that was the best customer service I have experienced at any Michael Hill, and I've been a loyal customer for years. Not only did she stand by their product and make it right by giving us credit for my husband's wedding ring that had damage within the first year of owning it not the products fault, my husband damaged it wearing it at work, she also took the time to give us great pricing on what we replaced it with. We never felt rushed and left extremely happy. I will definitely only be purchasing from this location and seeing Nova every time from now on.
HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I brought my necklace to have it soldered. It took almost 2 months. Their favourite excuse is COVID. The manager called me after 3 weeks to ask me what was wrong with the necklace cause he didn’t know and when I called to find out where my necklace was, no one knew where it was. When it finally came, they didn’t even try to offer me a discount and charged me $52 even though the lady told me when I brought it in that it would be $40. My husband buys all my jewelry from Michael Hill, but I told him not to buy anything again from this company. They suck at customer service!!
Went in to get servicing for a necklace purchased at a different location. Place of purchase gave false information regarding warranty add on. The manager at Market Mall still honored promises made at other location. Very pleased with the customer service and would highly recommend.
I bought my wife's engagement ring, wedding band, my wedding band. All from the Market mall location. Customer service was out standing! they were very patient with me and very helpful. They even called me when there was a sale so I could save some money on the wedding band. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for jewelry. Could not be happier with the service. Thanks Michael Hill for everything!
Best Customer service we ever had. My husband and I have been loyal Michael Hills customers for years. This particular location has provided us with the best customer service we've ever had anywhere! My husband's right hand ring tugsten, silver and diamonds had been fixed for a crack in the silver near the diamonds. The repair was done well and on time. However within a year from the repair the crack returned. When we brought it in for another repair the manager offered us a brand new ring the exact same one! We didn't have to pay a fee, fill out paper work or anything! No fuss no muss. When I asked him don't we have to sign something he said "nope. I gave you a ring you gave me a ring. That's it. It's done. " I've never been so blown away! Amazing customer service!
Poor customer service. After purchasing a necklace online and 5 days later it broke, I was told to bring it in to the store and would be able to exchange it or have it fixed at no cost within a 12 month period only to walk in to the store and have been turned away and said it's actually only within a 30 day period and only if it's a manufacturer issue... obviously it is if it breaks in 5 days.. its a manufacturer issue but told no that physical force :/ didnt realize putting a necklace on was deemed physical force. pretty dissapointed in the quality and would not recommend their products especially if a customer is being told 2 different sets of information. Save your money for better quality jewelry.
