Exceptional store with exceptional group of people that go above and beyond to make your experience memorable. I was in store to enquire about a Wolf Watch Winder when I had the pleasure to meet Seth, we started talking in depth about watches and he took his time to educate me on some of the fascinating pieces they carry in store not only Rolex. He is genuinely passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to luxury timepieces. As a watch lover myself, I enjoyed our conversation a lot and trust me when I say this, Seth will not try to make a sale but rather get to know you on what you like and then make recommendations to suit your style/taste. No pressure, just pure passion to help their clients is what I saw with my experience at J. Vair. Everyone at the store is super friendly and helpful, which I appreciated the most. I ended up ordering the Wolf AXIS Triple Watch Winder through Seth and the order was handled perfectly from start to finish. Ended up purchasing a great timepiece as well, once the watch winder arrived. I would like to thank Seth and his team once again for an unforgettable experience. Would highly recommend J. Vair to anyone when it comes to luxury timepieces and jewellery, will be my go to place for sure.
An exceptional watch and jewelry store! Incredibly welcoming staff that, as others have mentioned, work hard as a team to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. There is a unique selection of high end watch brands on sale here, such as Nomos and Sinn which are very hard to find in-person at an authorized dealer. The staff are really knowledgeable and careful when handling your potential purchases and their watch adjustments are done perfectly. The location is somewhat small but the display cases showcase the items at their best. Rolex’s are essentially sold out due to the low supply but there are plenty of other great watches in store e.g. Grand Seiko. You will need to park on the street nearby or in another lot as there’s no designated parking lot. Highly recommended luxury goods shop!
J.Vair Anderson remains my luxury watch boutique and jeweler of choice in Alberta. Each staff member is warm and gracious from the moment you walk in—Seth Besenski being a particular standout. I have bought beautiful time pieces from Seth several times, but my recent purchase of a Rolex Yacht-Master Ref.126622 was particularly meaningful for many personal reasons. It took time for one of these beautiful watches to become available, but it was well worth the wait. Seth is affable by nature and genuinely cares to know his customers in the way he would his dearest friends. He shows a passion for horology that envelopes you; his charismatic presentation and brilliant story telling make every visit an experience rather than transaction. Annette, thank you for filling your space with wonderful people like Seth, Paul, and Ed, who make every visit special. As suggested, Seth is particularly wonderful, and reflects exceedingly well on you and the brands like Rolex who have entrusted you to embody their legacies. To those reading this, consider making an afternoon of enjoying an artisan coffee or fine meal nearby and visiting J.Vair Anderson. I visited J. Vair Anderson to inquire about a specific Rolex timepiece that I was in the market for. I had the pleasure of meeting Paul L'Hirondelle and his colleagues, Seth and Ed. After some in depth discussion regarding the brand and the status of the watch market I left my contact information and asked to be advised if any Rolex timepieces that fell within the parameters I was looking for became available. I was fortunate to hear back from Paul much sooner than expected and was pleased to be invited to come to the store and review a timepiece that was available. I specifically appreciated that I was not told what the timepiece was until I was at the store and presented with it. This indicated to me that the previous discussions that we had were meaningful, and that they had put thought and consideration into inviting me to visit the store to consider a specific Rolex timepiece that they believed I would appreciate and be interested in acquiring. The entire experience was top shelf customer service which I appreciated and commend Paul, Seth, Ed, and their colleagues for providing. I look forward to being a repeat customer.
J. Vair Anderson had a particular watch brand/model that I had been looking at for some time, available in many different options. Selection was excellent, price was reasonable, and service was superb. I highly recommend checking them out both online and in store if you live nearby. My transaction was entirely digital and I dealt with a representative who was very kind and helpful.
unbelievable experience that simply cannot be explained using words alone. The level of genuine care and professionalism from Pei-Wen and the J.Vair Anderson team was incomparable to any other timepiece shopping experience that I have had to date. High-quality service made the process very seamless. Yes, one must be patient throughout the process as supply is very limited. However, having the team at J.Vair makes the eventual purchase worth it! This is the kind of place you come in to build a long lasting relationship, and they certainly have a customer for life. I originally inquired on a Rolex via email through their website. Seth Besenski responded back to me to inform me about the current state of obtaining a Rolex may take some time. We discussed what other brands J. Vair Anderson carries as I was looking to replace my Apple Watch with something more professional. After doing a bit of my own research I decided to visit Seth in person at the store. While waiting for Seth to finish helping his client, every single staff member was very courteous to make sure I was comfortable and offered me coffee and water. Once Seth finished with his client he came over immediately to focus his attention on me. I explained to him that I was interested in the Grand Seiko Snowflake which he removed from the display case for me to view. Seth is very knowledgeable and passionate about timepieces. He was able to go into great detail as to why the Snowflake is such an iconic watch for Grand Seiko, which you can easily appreciate while holding it in your hand. With Seth’s help, I ultimately decided that this is the perfect timepiece to replace my Apple Watch until the Rolex becomes available. I am happy that the luxury purchasing experience was amazing without any pressure. You can feel that J. Vair Anderson takes pride in making sure that the customer comes first. Thank you to Seth, and all the staff for this great experience!
After receiving a very prompt reply from Sylvester this morning to my inquiry about purchasing my first Rolex, I booked an appointment for this afternoon to sit down and discuss availability and models. Sylvester was incredibly accommodating and super knowledgeable about each of the watches we selected. He took me through all of their specs and even their history which was a very cool experience all on its own. As many of you probably know, there is a waitlist to purchase a Rolex. This has deterred me in the past from actually visiting an AD. However despite not having any purchase history with J Vair, I was still treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Sylvester didn't try to push other watches on to me and was nothing but professional the entire time we sat together. I have put my name in for consideration to get one of the models I was interested in. I'll be sure to update this review when I get the call. All of that being said, they have a great selection of watches which are in stock. If you are in the market for a new time piece, I cannot recommend these guys enough. They carry everything from G shocks to Grand Seikos and several in between and even above. They also carry Sinn and Nomos which I haven't seen much of anywhere else in Calgary.
