Mezze Uyghur Cuisine

An amazing meal. We ordered a few dishes including a chicken platter with vegetables as well as lamb with round noodles and some Kabab. The spices were adequate and the taste was amazing. It's definitely a uniquely blended mix of spices. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a single table so it's not really a place to sit and eat but we took it to the nearby park and ate outside. I d recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique taste of Uyghur food.

This was my first time having Uyghur Cuisine. It was very delicious. I really liked the spice of the dish. Really nice staff and it was ready very quickly after ordering. I will definitely go again and try different menu items.

Small take out place but delicious food. Authentic Uyghur cuisine so it’s gonna be spicy. Brace yourself. Chicken & Lamb noodles were cooked really well. The owner did warn me about the spice level, so thank you The honey cake is definitely on repeat, not too sweet or loaded with sugar. Just right.

It serves really authentic foods. It’s way more numbing and spicy than Szechuan dishes. I was really shocked in a good way. The Dough of Samsa was light and flaky, and lamb and cumin were well balanced. The best dish wash cold chicken dish. I can have it every day seriously. I miss them already!

Delicious, with bold flavours and great service! One of the best restaurants we've tried for Uyghur cuisine and a great choice for tasting something new. Strongly recommend the fried lamb and naan, the lamb is tender and the naan is full of flavour! + the Samsas are awesome, definitely a must try

Such an awesome place to have authentic Uyghur cuisines! The Uyghur plov and Chow Mee Fen are exactly the same flavors as I had in China couple years ago. Will definitely come back and try more dishes:

Was very excited to try this restaurant as the owners are from a very small part of China and was looking forward to trying a lot of their authentic dishes. However after many attempts and selections of everything on the menu I can openly state that I'm disappointed.... I've tried all of the dishes here but a majority of the times I have ordered their big plate chicken and chicken ban mi fen. Unfortunately it was always a hit or miss of either being undercooked/over watered and bland/or even burnt at times but today we ordered the chicken ban mi fen and found hair in our meal. To he honest it was way too thick and curly to be hair from the top of someone's head so I was definitely not impressed with this. Won't be coming back as I haven't had as many wins as losses with Mezze and will need to have food inspections/foodsafe done soon too to make sure no one else has to go through my experiences. The price is also way too expensive for dishes with dishes of these quality....

The food is awesome. Everything is spicy so beware. The blue can of horse milk like pop is actually a tangy yogurty drink that is the perfect compliment to the spicy food. Prices are a bit high and food is borderline too spicy otherwise it would be 5 stars. Had the Uyghur kevap, chow me fen and the unnamed drink. Will be back to try the honey cake.

Very disappointing for all the good review maybe they had an off day or you shouldn't deliver but just poor quality. First of all the Big Plate Chicken packaging was nice externally but once you remove the wrapping I saw that half the gravy spilled out into the plastic bag then spill out onto the table and on the ground when I slightly opened the bag. Also I think they added too much salt by accident cause the gravy all you could taste the salt the chicken was edible. To top it off they didn't include the noodles like they have in the pictures and also the description. We had to carefully transfer the dish so it didn't fall all over the flood Not sure why you would put a gravy dish in a foil tray instead of sealable contained. I also ordered the Chow Mee Fun which wasn't bad not to my liking but atleast that didn't spill out food can not be to your taste but making food to extremely salty and having it spill is not acceptable. For all the money spent very disappointed compared to my past experience at other Uyghur restaurants.

I had the Polo and Kawap here and both were amazing granted I was very hungry . It’s a small store with just one table, most likely family owned. If I lived in Vancouver, this would be my regular place to eat. 5/5, will visit again when I’m in town next time.
