Meadowvale Community Centre and Library

I love going to the community centre and park!nThe staff are friendly, and there are fun programs for kids and families.nThe park is clean, with lots of space to run and play.nThey welcome Parkrun every Saturday which is great opportunity to run with people be active and motivated!nThere is a playground, a soccer field, and even picnic tables.nIt’s a great place to relax, have fun, and meet new people.nI always have a great time there!

Great community center with friendly helpful staff. Deanna and Carina are awesome! Fitness facilities are newer and plentiful. Great squash courts.

The community center is huge and looks neat, but this review is especially for the staff working here, particularly those responsible for the party room maintenance.nWe had a baby shower event in the youth and senior room, and the room was ready and set up according to our expectations before the event started. The room is spacious and clean, with an ensuite restroom and kitchen.nBut the major shoutout goes to the staff—they made us feel comfortable and never got upset, even though we called them about 10 times for help with the microphone, projector, or anything else. Since it was a baby shower, we had a gender reveal with confetti, and later found out that confetti is not allowed. However, the staff assured us they would clean it up and would not charge us, as the confetti we used was paper and easy to clean.nOverall, I highly recommend booking this place for a stress-free event.

They don't know what they're doing at this community center. This is the second time in a row that I have called in advance to ask when open registration happens for swimming and this is the second time people have given me the wrong information. So my daughter has missed again registration for swimming. You call in advance to ask when everything opens up for registration and they give you the wrong dates and time. So unorganized. Extremely frustrating. I called to talk about how frustrating it is and that they need a better system for letting people know when open registration happens so this doesn't keep happening. Because I am not the only person this is happening to and the lady on the phone couldn't care less.

The centre itself has so much potential but it really wasnt designed to use it effectively. The library coukd be 2 storeys but ultimately lacks that and instead has wide open spaces and therefore sound traveling from across the library. The pool itself is nice. Clean and warm in therapy location. However the spectator location is completely lacking for little children swimming and ultimately leaves me looking for another location so i can be closer to my children. They say you cannot watch and then actually remove you from doing so. When you go to the upstairs locstion to watch they have flags blocking your view so you cannot watch wherever you are.The hallways are large and spacious but again why arent you using this space instead.nnThe mississauga website is another story all on its own but
