What a great way to spend the day. Do yourself a favor, rent a bike and take a lap around the island. I also recommend walking to the arch before your bike ride so your don't have to worry about your bike.

Beautiful, I'm not a huge fan of the island in general (the shopping and corporate / exclusive nature of it) but the state park is a real gem.

Beautiful State Park. We went through it on our carriage ride. Several different placed to view there- such as the Arch, 2 cemeteries, Skull Cave, Fort Holmes.

Beautiful views and full of historic tradition. Plenty for you and the kids to do. Also a great place for a romantic get away. A must see.
