Very laid-back and relaxing break. You can stay as long as you want and come back for unlimited visits at no additional cost. If you sit still in the sunlight butterflies will land on you. The staff is helpful and offers education if requested. Go early during ng your time on Mackinaw Island so that you can go back.

Had a lovely 25th year anniversary celebration on the island. This was a gift from our children. We had a wonderful time. We were given a 2 night stay at the Murray Hotel along with a picture perfect package that included all the island favorites. We had lunch at the Grand Hotel, visited the Butterfly House, Fort Mackinac, went on The Carriage Tour and still have the hour bike rental for tomorrow. Accommodations were fantastic.

Don't waste your money. Butterfly house you walk through for about 7 minutes at the most. Insect world was mainly dead bugs on the wall and a bee hive. Not worth the $$

Neat attraction! Be prepared to sweat though....it is really hot and humid in the there. It is definitely worth it though. The flowers and the butterflies are beautiful. My favorite part was the fairy garden :) and they sell fairy garden items in the gift shop.

We enjoyed going every year. This year, there was a really cool Display of honeybees, and that even Mark the queen's jeep so you could see her at work. We love coming here every year.
