Bridge View Park

Always worth stopping to see. This is the best photography spot for the Mack. Never disappointed . Inside , the history of the bridge is spread out , complete with photos. The restrooms are kept up nicely. The gardens in the spring and summer along the walkways are so beautifully planned. Stretching your legs has never been so purposeful as to simply see more.

Nice place for a photo opp of the bridge, especially during the sunset! Easy parking once inside, restroom access and some benches for taking everything in. Wish their would be a more convenient way to enter the park when headed northbound from the bride. Same goes when leaving southbound it wraps you around a few extra miles...but overall a great place to stop and stretch.

Very good view of the Mackinaw bridge. I imagine you could have a very small picnic here too as long as you cleaned up after yourself afterwards and didn't bring copious amounts of booze

This is a nice little park if you want a nice photo op of the bridge or if you need a short break before going over the bridge. There are nice flowerbeds all along the sidewalks by the building. Unfortunately if you stop here you are routed a couple miles out of your way to get back into the road to the bridge.

Great view of the bridge from the Lake Michigan side. Had to dip my toes on the lake. There's a building with a picture history around one wall, and a video playing of the building of the bridge. Restrooms inside. Memorial to those that died during construction of the bridge. Don't waste quarters in the telescopes outside, they don't work. Beautiful landscaping.
