"Zoo-de-Mack is fun-loving group of bike, ski and adventure enthusiasts that enjoy all that the great state of Michigan has to offer. The Annual Zoo-de-Mack bike ride takes place the 3rd weekend of May each year and is 51 miles of fun from Boyne Highlands to Mackinac Island. For over 30 years, this "rite of spring" event brings over 3,000 riders to celebrate the arrival of summer. The ride is NOT a race, but will test your endurance in all capacities from the kick-off party Friday night at the Zoo Bar to the after ride celebrations and bar hops on Mackinac Island Saturday night. Fall rides, bike and brewery tours, ski trips out west and other adventure seeking events await."

This was our second ride... registration went really well. Much improvement from 7years ago. The Friday night buffet... well let me tell you... They charged $30 for a $10 maximum buffet... We were so disappointed!!! Zoo... you should be embarrassed for charging what you did!!! Road conditions were terrible. Not just terrible but DANGEROUS!!! This was a VERY disappointing ride this year... I will never come back!!!
Great trip inspite of weather this year.
