Word to the wise. Don't buy carpeting here. We did. It took forever to get it in once it was ordered. The closest installers are in Boise so setting up the installation was difficult. Then they canceled because another job took longer than they had planned. They kept putting us off. When the installers finally did get here they didn't install it correctly. Come to find out, they left the previous carpet in and installed the new over it! Now a month plus later we're still waiting to have the installers show up to fix the first ones mess. They say they'll reuse the carpet, but we're not sure it will look right when it is done. This has been ongoing since August 10, 2024 when we purchased the carpeting. They can't seem to get anyone to come from Boise to install the carpeting and they don't have anyone local. We have never had so many issues when we bought local. I guess this is a lesson learned. Don't buy carpeting from Lowe's, less expensive is nothing but a headache.
The husband and I stopped here to get some things for some home improvement projects. We went here particularly to get some white lattice that I noticed was much cheaper to buy there than at the competitor. There wasn't any on the shelf, but we noticed there was a large pallet of it way up high. So I tracked down an employee, He was very nice and willing to get the pallet down. And we bought what we needed and went on our way.
The customer service was an A+ experience that oth solved my problem and provided me with the information and products I was after.nTina and Diane did the research and found what I was after.nWell done Girls, and thank you Lowe's for having the customer care in place.nIt makes shopping with you feel like family and home.
I started a business and needed tools. The first power tools were an impact wrench and and angle grinder.nnI found a sale that had an impact wrench kit with battery and charger with a free second tool. I then chose the angle grinder.nnWhen I got to my shop the wrench worked great. I went to put a disc on the grinder and noticed the key was missing. I went to ask for a return so I could have it.nnThey then told me I had to return both items since it was a sale and it had to go back on my card. Since this is a new business I had to wait for it to hit my account to purchase it again.nnWhen it hit I went to buy them again but the sale ended. I asked the service department if they could still honor the sale and they said no. They wouldn't even let me speak with a manager. They simply asked the manager on the phone. I really wish I could have at least spoken with the manager face to face instead of them hiding behind a phone.nnIt seems very poor customer service. I missed out on the sale because faulty tools and they didn't even try and make it right. I will be purchasing all my tools I need in other locations.
Lowes tends to have things Home Depot doesn't. We love that. Clean store. Usually, walk out with more than we came for. And it's always a stop when in Twin Falls. It is a tad bit more expensive than Home Depot, in my opinion.
