Lonsdale Quay Hotel

Oh my this is the best hotel yet, the service was amazing! The bed was so comfortable! The view was amazing! And to have a little market downstairs for some yummy treats!!!! We will be back for sure! It’s so easy to get around here as you can take the sea bus to get across the water so you can get to downtown Vancouver!! I usually don’t leave reviews but I had the best time here! So sad we had to leave!!!

Where Your incidentals deposit Checks In But Never Checks Out!nnI rarely write reviews this negative, but after over a month of waiting for my $300 incidental deposit to be returned with no resolution, I felt the need to speak out. Our stay at Lonsdale Quay Hotel isn’t the issue, yet it wasn’t spectacular in any way. Real disappointment came after we checked out. Like others, we were assured the deposit would be returned promptly. Yet here we are over a month later, still out $300 and getting nothing but empty promises and radio silence. Hello Ruben? You promised to call us back.nnAnd we’re not alone. A quick glance through other online reviews shows multiple guests reporting the exact same issue. Delayed returns. No communication. Excuses. It’s starting to look less like disorganization and more like an intentional pattern.nnIf you’re thinking about staying here, ask yourself how comfortable you are with your money being held hostage. A “stunning waterfront view”doesn’t make up for incompetence—or a lack of integrity.nnSteer clear.nnP.S. I’ve added two other reviews from other dissatisfied customers with the same story.

Stayed August 2025, hotel in need of remodel. General condition of rooms, hallways, etc., is tired, worn and dated. Great location, although tough to find the lobby on first visit as it is poorly marked. We needed ask direction from a vendor in the market to find the hotel elevator. On our next visit, will likely try one of the other hotels located very close by.

The location of the hotel is wonderful! However the following were problems:n-Lumpy uncomfortable pillows,n-having to pay for parking $30/day when that was not disclosed in the booking.n-No restaurant - only coffee & granola bars for breakfast. It’s in a market with bakeries - you think they could have provided muffins, etc. .n-Descriptions of rooms led us to believe there would be a sea or city view - we looked out in a walkway leading to the Seabus.n-No chair/couch for relaxing in - only a desk chair. Room was dated - dark and dreary.

This hotel is fantastic! The room is very nice, our king bed was very comfortable, cable was a nice addition as some places don’t have that any more. Location is incredible as the Quay market is on the first 2 levels of this building with the hotel on levels 3 and 4. Parking is an extra fee per night from the public parking for the Quay market but that was the only down side. So many things in walking distance it was a great weekend experience. Highly recommend!
