We were very happy with all departments of Lansdowne Appliance. The sales team is not working on commission and are genuinely interested in finding what will work best for your situation. They don't push a certain brand over another and will point you in the right direction based on what you need/ your budget. The installers are awesome! Jesse was so polite and professional and did a great job. Earle in the service department was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We have had an amazing experience purchasing and will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.  I helped my mother-in-law get a washer/dryer set; we dealt  with Brad Goodyear, the sales manager who was very relaxed and helpful during the sales process. Delivery and installation was a breeze, and the two gentlemen who came were polite, helpful, and extremely professional.  This place is hands-down the BEST store in Victoria to buy any appliance; avoid WestCoast appliances for their higher prices and pushy salespeople.  Lansdowne is the place to go!!

I've purchased appliances here in the past and came in recently to see what my options were for my new kitchen renovation.  I didn't know exactly what I wanted but I wanted to see what's available and what size of appliances I want.

Despite being the only customer there it took quite a while for someone to decide to help me.  Once a sales associate did decide to help me, they were of little help.

I was leaning towards a gas range and wanted to see all the differences between them.  I was shown several and they were nice.  I asked a couple of different times what that the difference between the various brands was, and why I might choose one over the other, but was just told that it depends on which options and accessories I want.  Later I asked about the different options and accessories and was told that pretty much all the ranges have the same options available.

Although it's a bit more than I want to spend, I was surprised and delighted to see my dream range on the showroom floor: Le Cornue.  It was even white, my colour of choice.  I've seen them in person before but not while I was planning a kitchen renovation.  I asked a question and the answer was "The rep hasn't been here in a while, so I don't know."  I asked another question but got the same reply.  Is this how you sell a $12,000 range?  You just know nothing until the next time the rep comes by?

Every time the sale associate got a cell phone call I was told to just browse on my own while the call was taken.  I felt like I already did enough of that before someone decided to help me.

As I was getting ready to go I noticed a brochure for another brand I was curious about and asked the sales associate a question about that brand.  I was told that I can look that up online myself.  I realized that there is no longer any point wasting my time at this store and went to leave.  On the way out the sales associate serious said, "If you have any more questions, just let me know."  Like the question I just asked you and you blew me off and told me to look it up myself?

I went to Coast Wholesale Appliances and found helpful sales staff that wanted to help me and answered my questions.  Anything they didn't know (I don't expect anyone to know everything) they found out and got back to me.  Obviously this is where my new appliances came from.

As abysmal as the sales staff at Landsdowne is, I'm giving two stars for my dealings with the service department.  They are excellent.
