La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries

We had been looking at the Dawson sectional for quite some time and decided to finally purchase it. I was extremely happy with Patty our sales gal and my overall experience purchasing our new sectional. I visited a couple other La-Z-Boy furniture stores in Calgary but found Red Deer La-Z-Boy to have much better pricing!!!! Thank you again!! ****UPDATE******I tried to have my delivery for the time I was off but there were unable to so my husband took the afternoon off but their delivery truck broke down. We rescheduled it for the following week and they delivered it during the hours I was home. Two pieces came damaged and they noted it for re-order. Upon sitting on the couch we found it to be very uncomfortable so I called to see what the return policy was as I was told that if it didn't fit or whatever the case we could return it. I was told I had only 3 days to make my mind up so I called my sales person Patti and I was made to feel guilty for it and the kicker was that I was told it was up to me to return it back to Red Deer. I was told that I sat on it in the showroom and I measured for fit but I told Patti it wasn't a fit issue. I asked Patti to quote me on the other set that I found but never received a call back. I was upset to say the least but I rented a u-haul to return it plus take an afternoon off of work. I called to verify where the refund cheque would be at and had a bit of a heated discussion with the manager as he said he was disappointed he had to cancel two other delivery appointments just to deliver mine and another one to Calgary. So how is that my fault that their truck broke down the week prior??? Also stated they don't do door to door deliveries but that was not true. They offered me a no hassle customer service satisfaction upon purchase and offered me delivery to my home and this is why I purchased from them. They said it was on the back of the contract but myself and my husband couldn't find anywhere where it said it was my responsibility for the return of the product. What would have been nice is if they would have tried to help me instead of putting the guilt trip on me. The store is a lovely store but the customer service after the fact was not up to spec. They said they found me to be aggressive but when your backed into a corner what else is a person to do not to mention they told me to not shop there and that's why they didn't quote me on the other set!! Just make sure when purchasing you ask about delivery charges to and return delivery charges from you home and what the return policy is and how long do you have to make sure your product is up to your standards!!

My husband and I went into La-Z-Boy on Saturday to talk about warranty on our furniture and also look around for a new couch. When we walked in the sales ladies looked at us and watched us walk around the store a few times but never approached us to see if they could help. There were several other people that came in behind us and were approached immediately... We then went to customer service to speak with them about warranty and the ladie working there was very helpful. We got all the information we were looking for. She then said that Josh Baker our Salesman from last year was working he was just in the back doing some paperwork and she would be glad to call him to help us.. Josh came out and once again helped us with choosing the perfect couch. We strongly recommend Josh if you are looking for the perfect piece of furniture for your home.

Our sales rep, Josh, was very attentive, pleasant and patient with us. He showed us quite a number of different styles of loveseats and sofas and helped us choose the style that would work best for us. There was no pressure to buy, just pleasant assistance. I doubt we'll be disappointed when our new loveseat and sofa arrive.

Excellent, excellent, excellent sales and service experience. One of our pet peeves is slippery sales tactics and techniques - and just plain indifference to customers. It’s shocking how often this occurs these days, even when you’re eagerly trying your best to spend money! Fortunately, my wife and I experienced the antithesis of this increasingly common and annoying stereotype. We were very thankful to meet and have Josh Baker look after us at the Red Deer Lazy Boy store. He was extremely pleasant, humble, and professional – and, more importantly, authentic. And I should mention that the rest of the sales team we met or spoke to were also impressively helpful and professional. Service like this seems to be extremely uncommon these days. So, thank you for helping us enjoy our spending!

The overall experience was great ! The salesman gave us options we wanted also options we hadn't thought about. Which really suited what we were looking for. We wanted 2 sofa beds but were unsure about our basement the salesman showed us an option which really fit into the space we wanted to fill.
