In Chicago for a concert and found La Mexicana across the street, thought I would have an app while I wait. It was joy what I expected. It had more of a fast food vibe. You can either order at the kiosk screens they have or at the counter. I ordered the Mexi-fries with steak as my protein. Steak is a $3.00 up charge. They were alright, but a bit more Americanized than I thought they’d be. The dish was drowning in yellow cheese. The steak was good, the whole dish was good, but I’d probably not order the fries again. They also have desserts, 3 leches cake, churros, and fried ice cream, but I did not see them on the menu. The only thing I saw about dessert was a sign they had on the table after you sit down.
went there and had some fantastic tacos. The quality of food was phenomenal, and the girl working the register was sweet, and the cooks were quick . So happy we stopped here on a whim.Food: 5/5
Stopped by after a Cubs game and we were not disappointed. I recommend their steak tacos, my boyfriend loves the surf n turf burrito. Give them a try.

This place has good food. However, the prices are definitely on the high side. I suppose for the area it's appropriate. The food is tasty but overpriced. A three taco dinner with beans and a drink is nearly $20. A shrimp bowl and a drink is almost $18. Not on every day type of possibility. The servers or cashier certainly could to bring a smile once in awhile. They rarely do. A little show of appreciation for the business would help bring me back a little more often also. The place is clean. That has never been an issue. Other than the employees being less than enthusiastic of your arrival and your money spent, and perhaps the parking be being less than plentiful, I give it four stars. I would have given it three and a half but that's not possible.
Stopped by with my family and let me tell you the carne asada tacos were delicious. They were loaded with steak, prizes were decent being where they're located. Check them out.
Highly recommend. The plantain burrito and the grill veggie burrito as bowls were great late night eats. Plantain was better than the veggie - if you love plantain you will like this.
I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from this place. I ordered a saucy burrito Monday night, it's Friday and I'm still nauseous and having digestive issues.
I ordered this food through UberEats, I personally got the chicken taco dinner. It's 3 tacos with a side of rice and beans and horchata. The tacos were okay but the horchata was really good
Im honestly taken aback by my last experience here. This was my go to Mexican take out place until recently when I was delivered food that was covered in mold. Truthfully I can't even begin to comprehend how this was even sent to me looking the way it did, clearly covered in green mold. It was such a negative experience that it now makes me question the sanitation and food safety practices of the whole restaurant. What a shame, sadly would not recommend this place to anyone.
