I eat here way too much! So many vegan Mexican options, which is uncommon. The vegan burritos are my favorite, and the presentation is the best! The quinoa rice is so unique and still has the Mexican flavor to it. Love!
Went for Cinco de Mayo at night. Our party of 2 was seated in 10 minutes. Restaurant maximizes seating, as the tables were a bit close and there are 2 sides. There was a live Mariachi band playing! Enchiladas and pomegranate margaritas were delicious. Although they were packed, speed of service was good. Will come back!
Went for lunch. Service was great. Food was fantastic - fairly priced, great quality and really tasty. Get the chips/salsa salsa is homemade - wonderful.. I had a combination dish that was solid. Margarita was excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and like Mexican. You won’t be disappointed.
The service is friendly and fast. They have a quaint patio in the back cutely decorated. The patio is just big enough to safely social distance. The food is tasty: we tried the vegan fajitas and the vegan enchiladas. Both dishes were splendid. The margaritas are a perfect evening cap. All and all, a very recommendable spot!
I’ve been coming here for years, but the last few trips have been absolute disappointments. They used to have great margaritas and something happened in the last year or so. The costs have gone up as you might expect, but the quality has taken a nosedive. 15 bucks for the worst made margarita I’ve ever had. Sometimes you just have a bad margarita, but it’s been 3 bad trips in a row tonight being the worst. Its honestly Chilis bar and grill quality margaritas these days… I hope they figure it out
Excellent vegan selection! I love that they have Mexican-spiced quinoa as an option instead of rice. Everyone on the staff has always been super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for any vegans wanting Mexican food in the neighborhood.
My wife and I have been eyeballing this restaurant. We finally made two Friday's ago. I really wanted a big burrito. The one El Nuevo is serving is almost like 3 pigs in a blanket three little burritos. Nothing special. Chips are amazingly fresh and they serve it in a nice little sealed pouch. Did not try the margaritas since I'm not a big fan of it. Washed down my burrito with a Bohemia instead. Thank you.
Just horrible. Ordered beef tacos and beef nachos. The beef was 75% potatoes. Both the taco shells and nachos were disgustingly soggy. I tried to dispose of all the potatoes.The remaining meat was tasteless. What a waste of money. All these good reviews have to be fake.
Authentic Mexican cuisine - try the guacamole and the quesadillas so much chicken! Enchiladas with mole are delicious! Haopy hour meals include a small margarita! The flan is sweet served on a plate of mango and strawberry puree; however, it is a bit dry. Overall, the dining experience is great! Friendly staff and outdoor seating!
OMG the food and drinks were fantastic, fresh, and full-bodied. They have a variety of menu selections to meet the needs of the customers. The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The restrooms were clean and stocked. I highly recommend El Nuevo Mexicano.
