A great experience in Montreal’s Old Port! La Grande Roue is a wonderful way to see the city from a completely different perspective. The views from the top are spectacular, especially over the Old Port, the St. Lawrence River, and the Montreal skyline.nnThe ride is relaxing and gives you plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take photos. Definitely a fun attraction to include when exploring Old Montreal, and even better around sunset when the city begins to light up.

This was an excellent family friendly activity! We did a VIP experience and, other than having the glass floor, I'm not sure it was entirely necessary as everything was walkup and the regular cabins looked very comfortable. We went around 3 times and got wonderful views of the city and surrounding area. Definitely worth doing!! The little cafe/ice cream parlor is nice for visiting right after the experience.

Visited with my wife during our trip and it was one of the highlights of our visit. We booked the VIP experience, which gave us access to a private cabin with seating for four. It felt very comfortable and offered a more intimate experience compared to a regular ride.nnWe went around 8.50pm in June and were treated to beautiful, panoramic sunset views of the city. The ride lasted for approximately 20min, which was about three full rotations.nnDespite visiting during a popular time, the wait was surprisingly short-only around 15 minutes. The area around the wheel is well maintained, and there are plenty of amenities nearby.nnIf you're visiting Montreal, especially as a couple, I would definitely recommend timing your ride around sunset.

Very cool experience. Climatisation is on, the amazing view of the city and of the St Lawrence is on, the fun is on!! :nMore or less 20 minutes, 2-3 full rides.nAnd the little cafe next to it ...amazing! And there's ice cream too for the kids
