First time here! Good emergency hospital in Montreal. Yes wait times are long 4-5 hours but better than other places, stay patient & communicate clearly what you need, they will go above & beyond to make sure you get the best service & care possible. The only things that some of the stuff not professional in communication and not clear what they do!

Incredible service from parking, triage to the ER team! Yes, the wait can be long as it is not a first come first serve type of business, yes, the room can be cold, but they offered blankets. Dr. Stern and his team were very attentive, and the whole medical file + images was uploaded online for our family doc to consult.

I visited Montreal for a week. I suffer from a heart condition and unfortunately ended up in emergency.nnI was out of province. I didn’t have a health card from Montreal nor a travel insurance. just wanted to say that my visit there was amazing, the nurses and doctors were so kind! Thank you so much for all the care! I was happy to have had such a great experience after going through it in a different city

I hurt my leg and I needed stitches for that, so I went to the ER and they made me wait for 11 hours! I arrived there at 9:30PM and left at 8:30AM.nAt 2AM we were only six people in the waiting room left and they only called us around 6:45AM, I really don't understand why it took them so long to call other patients in? Then, after they called me I had to stay over 1 hour in the consult room to get a doctor to see me. The doctor was very nice though, but the organization was awful.nAnd, the WORST part? The consult room was disgusting. There was so much dirt, even a cleaning machine and blood from other patients that was on the table where they put the things to cure me... I am very very disappointed with this. I have attached pictures. The very least you can ask for a hospital is for it to be clean.

Brought my mom to the ER for shortness of breath and pain on her whole left body at 6 pm. She was in a crucial pain and couldn’t breathe. Waited after the triage until 10:30. We waited about 8 hrs before they took us in. They brought us into the consult room at around 10:30pmand made us wait until 3 am to be seen by a resident. They took an xray at about 3:30am & at 6:00 am they wanted to take another xray because the first one wasnt done properly. They turned off the lights as if that’s the most important thing to get us settled ? The nurses were being extremely rude with not only me but also with other patients. I know this is tough for them but it’s also tough from the patient pov. In utmost disbelief !!!The nurse casually told me it’s normal to wait MINIMUM 3 hours before being seen when you wait in the closed rooms. Also, I asked for Tylenol and the nurse only brought it 30 after I asked. I also had to do a follow-up for that. If you can avoid this ER please do so.
