It's actually rare that I leave reviews but they were so kind and accommodating that I had to say something. My girlfriend was dealing with an illness and, because she was a non-resident, we spent over 8 hours at the CHUM emergency with no movement. The next day we went to 1851 to try and, although they were full that day, she had a scheduled appointment for the next morning. Above and beyond that, the receptionist called around to see if there was another clinic that could see us immediately. We opted to wait. My partner said that the doctor was amazing, attentive... and funny. I'm going to see if I can switch my family doctor to this location. fingers crossed. I sense a full 5 star rating in the future from having a personal experience with a doctor there
I came to this clinic for a RDV booked through GAP. Dr. Julie was the doctor and she was very patient and attentive to the way I explained my health issues. The 2 receptionists were also friendly and efficient. I came on time and only waited for 5 minutes before I was seen by the doctor. I’ll come back here again if I’d ever need a RDV in the future.
Visited this clinic for the first time, staff was friendly and wait time was quick. A big thank you to all the nursing staff but a special thank you to Dr. Martine Labelle who took the time to examine my husband and went out of her way to get him the necessary help he needed. Within a few hours we were back home feeling much better and appreciative. Thanks again for your help.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was at the clinic a few minutes late after doing a 45 minutes ride by bus. It was the only appointment I could find that day and they totally refused to take care of me. I was such in pain and was already feeling so sad and tired mentally and physically. They didn't care at all. The nurse at the front said she couldn't do anything else because the doctor already put me absent. I swear there was nobody else in the room, no patients. It's like the clinic was empty. They had no empathy towards me. Even after seeing me crying while having an anxiety attack. The doctor Christopher Lam refused to take a patient that clearly needed help. No solutions, nothing. I work at a clinic myself and no matter the circumstances, we always try to find solutions. They didn't even care to find one for me.
keep in mind they can call you 15 minutes before the appointment to cancel it. without even being sorry. I’m sure the receptionists lack empathy and soft skills, because that would’ve help to make the situation a little bit better
